Night Changes
One month later
I never once visited her. I only called her or texted her. But now I was ready to see her. To see her beautiful face once again.
I knocked on her door, 903. The hospital always scared me since I found out that she would never live again. Not my darling Blue, but another one that I loved so much. "C'mon in..." She coughed.
I brought her flowers, her favorite flowers tulips. She smiled at me, happy. But I wasn't happy about seeing her, it wasn't because she was very skinnier, or how short her hair had gotten only after one month.
I wasn't happy because, I left her. I left her to feel this pain alone, to deal with her issue alone, while no one else could help.
What type of boyfriend does that. I'm suppose to help her, to love her with every inch of my heart, not leave because it became to difficult to handle. She's been struggling with this far longer than I have, I should've looked at it that way.
She smelled the flowers, "Thank you. They're lovely." She smiled.
"So are you, darling." I kissed her forehead. "How are you today?" I asked her.
"The doctors changed my meds so, pretty fine. I go to sleep more, but wake up at like five in the morning." She told me. I touched her palm, her cold hand. Her hands were so small, it was as of she would break if I pull too much pressure on it.
"You look so beautiful." I touch her, holding her face close to mine. "I mean it, no matter what. You are very beautiful. "
She blushed, and smiled. "Thank you."
She changed so much only within a month, it depressed me so much.
Does it ever drive you crazy, just how fast the night changes.
