Samantha Faith Brooks is a District Attorney. She has just successfully found a missing person. A young girl name Emily Walkens. The girl has been missing for months. No one knew where she was. No one knew how to find her. Even Sam was at a loss to find this young girl. Without access to surveillance cameras, no one knew where this girl had disappeared from. It all looked hopeless. A young girl is missing. No sign of her anywhere. All they had to go on was the girl had been kidnapped by her boyfriend, Joshua Travis Kemptin. Joshua said he never kidnapped Emily. That he was nowhere around her when she disappeared. That's what he would tell Sam when she'd go to the jail to talk to him about things. He pleaded his innocence with her.

After meeting a hacker, Aiden Pearce Sam would get her answers as to if Joshua was lying to her or not about his whereabouts with Emily. With the help of Pearce, they found out that Joshua wasn't the one who kidnapped Emily as she waited for the L Train. It was some other criminals. Criminals who were later after Sam. With the help of Aiden, the criminals were knocked out in an alley way. Sam had turned down an alleyway to get rid of the criminals. Only to end up in a dead end alleyway. If Aiden Pearce had not been around, Samantha knows she wouldn't be here today. Those two men were out to kill her. Why? At the time it wasn't clear why they were after her. At first, she thought to rob her. But, as time went on, and Sam herself was kidnapped by a man she use to date, who was running an underground human trafficking ring, Sam learn they wanted her out of the way. They had hired this man, she use to date, to kidnap her. Put her up for sale in his human trafficking ring, and get rid of her. It didn't matter how she was gotten rid of. Just as long as she was out of the way. For good.

The reason they wanted her out of the way?...Samantha found out later that the men, and her ex-boyfriend, Maxwell Murcier, was wanting Joshua Travis Kemptin to take the fall for Emily Walkens disappearce. Make it like he was the one who really kidnapped her, and killed her. Not letting anyone know that she was really being held hostage in a human trafficking ring. Emily Walkens was a pretty young woman. They figured with her being young and pretty she'd get bought and taken off someplace. But, with Aiden Pearce helping DA Samantha Brooks in the case, they found out what had happen to her, and he saved her life!

So, the case was closed after Joshua was set free, thanks again to Aiden Pearce. Emily was reunited with Josh, and he and Emily were alive and okay with their new lives. Josh was adopted by his foster parents. And, he and Emily were married. After this was over, Samantha decided to call it quits on being a DA. It was a cool job. And she loved helping people. But she felt like her time of it was over now. Sam had promised Josh his freedom, and she came through with it. Not that Josh doubted her. He never did doubt Sam. He always knew she'd come through for him when he needed her most. Sam did have help from Aiden. But, that she is keeping quiet about. No one needs to know about his help with her. Sam don't want Aiden to get in to anymore trouble then he already is with the police.

After a long time, wishing she could have hacked into those security cameras, Aiden took her back to her house, and showed her how to hack into things, like, security cameras and such. It took her a long time to learn it. It wasn't an easy thing to learn. Hacking is a really hard thing to do. But, she did eventually learn it. Now, every time she's late for something, and she's sitting at a red light, she changes the traffic lights to green so she can go on. Which all this hacking made her think of Aiden Pearce. No one has seen him for days now. Sam worried that he has been killed by a luck criminal, who got lucky enough to kill him. But, Sam don't think Aiden is dead. There's no way. He's too smart for that...But, then again, Aiden is only human. Sam has found that out that night he taught her how to hack. They ended up sleeping together. Which, was not what Sam had in mind that night he was there at her house. Neither one of them had planned it. It happen. And, they weren't drunk either! Both of them were sober enough to know better... But, better isn't what they tought themselves that night. They let the human in them get the best of them. Curiosity got the worse to them that night. It had been a long time since either of them had sex. But, damnit! To have that night again? Samantha would take it. In a heartbeat.
