One day,while Tanjiro was at the butterfly estate , he was sent on a mission
His friends were hurt,badly,so they couldn't go with him.Shinobu decided to go with him and help him.
The mission was easy so they were done early.After they were done, Tanjiro,was asked to check something in the village,but Shinobu told him to go check on his friends back at the butterfly estate.
On his way back to the butterfly estate,Tanjiro,smelled something,something like blood.
He started following the scent.
While following the scent he saw footsteps and blood on the road,so he followed those too.
He got into the forest,next to him,half way into it.
He saw a really big rock and a demon infront of it,which was ready to kill somebody.
Tanjiro run and cut of the demon's head.He,then,looked behind you.
He saw kanao.She was covered in blood and was unconscious.
He picked her up,and took her to the butterfly estate.
When they got yhete ,Aoi, took kanao and started treating her wounds.An hour later , Aoi told Tanjiro to go and find Shinobu-sama because Kanao had broken both her legs and hands and her organs were damaged.
The next day ,Tanjiro, brought Shinobu at the estate.Tanjiro told Shinobu what had happened ,before leaving the village,so the decided to bring some medicine from the village.
They treated Kanao's wounds but she was still unconscious.
She was still unconscious gor the next three months.
Whenever ,Tanjiro could, he visited her,always holding flowers in his hands,hoping she'll wake up.
