{ Hello there! This is Sami, the girl behind this...thing. Now before this starts, I just want to tell you that this was copied from my Instagram, to mobile Google Drive, and now here. So many apologies if there are grammar mistakes, or formatting mistakes! Anyway, please enjoy! }

Starfire, oh Starfire. Princess Starry-Eyes, with emerald orbs to pierce through your veins. A gaze so strong that she could make your heart flutter or your insides disintegrate. What a gal.

So poised. So beautiful. She drowned in love, despite being able to soar above all the clouds and stars in the atmosphere. So why did she do it? Did she even do it to herself?

From what can be told, this galactic princess was hiding demons. No, Raven wasn't playing hide and seek inside her hair. This was an inner demon. Multiple, actually. These creatures were all of the Princess' insecurities. They feasted on her pain, making her feel like dirt when she really  was a diamond. Ugly. Homewrecker. Boyfriend Kidnapper. Whore. Slut. Tramp. Those were the easy ones, though.

Underweight. Overweight. Homely. Unkempt. The voices kept contradicting themselves. Or, really, Starfire was. They kept eating her alive every day.

Everything was her fault. She didn't deliver the final blow on a villain? Beat herself up. Robin didn't bring her dinner? Give herself a bruise. Raven bursting into tears from a sudden overwhelming emotion given to her by other Titans? Smash her gauntlets in half. They still needed to be patched up. Oh well. Too late now.

Okay, now we're getting too off track. Star-floozy came from a planet called Tamaran. When born, everyone there was practically smoking. They were hot. In a literal sense and figurative sense. A whole bunch of stuff happened to her little world, but that's pretty boring. From an extreme number of experiments performed on the Princess and her sister, Starfire only became hotter. And stronger.

After a short time, the girl's skin was cooled down. Still warm, but good enough to not burn all Earthlings. Her strength was all outer, and made the Titans very impressed. But inside, she was frail. And when teenage girls and boys got protective of their "hunky crush" Robin the Boo Wonder, her walls came crashing down.

That's when the name calling started! See? Everything comes full circle. From immature teens to her own mind, Starfire couldn't escape the torment. It wasn't that the Titans didn't help. Of course they did! But the once energy filled girl broke, it was a downward spiral into being alone.

Her crush pushed himself deeper into work. Raven was the one to get out of her room now, hoping to cheer herself up. Hoping her best friend would willingly talk to her. The goons known and Cyborg and Beast Boy never played video games anymore, and started to just order pizza instead of Cyborg making the best platters in existence.

The goons known and Cyborg and Beast Boy never played video games anymore, and started to just order pizza instead of Cyborg making the best platters in existence.

But Starfire didn't see it from a bird's eye view. She didn't know that her friends loved her still. Everything was her fault. Everything. Her chances with Robin were gone. She made him stressed anyway. Raven didn't want to be her friend anymore. She made the half-demon go berserk anyway. Cyborg didn't want to watch their shows with her anymore. He hated watching them with her anyway. Beast Boy didn't want to play fetch with her anymore. She didn't know how to play anyway.

Seeing as how Starfire ruined all of her friends' lives, she decided that it was time to go. No one ever liked her. No one on Earth. No one on Tamaran. Not a single soul. Remember that whole bit about how hot the Princess was? This is how it gets interesting.

The Pacific Ocean. Or was this a bay? Who cares! Star didn't.

"Hey prissy! Go take a dip! Push yourself under!"

"Yeah, do it right now! I dare you!"

"You want the pain to go away, right? You want your friends to be happy again? Then you'll kill yourself."

Her Tamaranean voices were so persuasive. Having someone talk to her would make her do what ever they wanted. Her face was pale. Her eyes were dry from all the tears washing away. Her lips her chapped. It was time.

••••••••

She did it. She actually did it. Starfire, the Tamaranean Princess, drowned herself. The Teen Titans of Jump City sat on the rocks, all shaken up by not finding their friend. When a petite body washed up on shore, they all gasped in unison.

"S-Starfire?...STARFIRE?" The Boy Wonder ran the fastest he had ever run, scooping up the red haired girl into his arms. The others were right behind him. Robin fell to his knees, his mouth open. Raven's hand met her mouth, shaking her head. Beast Boy just stared in shock. Cyborg looked away, clenching his metal hands.

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! "

Robin gasped in between sobs.

"GO CALL AQUALAD! CALL SOMEBODY! ANYBODY!"

They all ran away, alerting Titans East as well as all the hospitals in the tri state.

"S-star..." There didn't seem to be a struggle. No marks besides the self inflicted ones. Robin thought the unthinkable. Tears of guilt and regret fell underneath his mask and onto the Princess' face.

Moving hair off of her cheek, he saw how peaceful she looked. The smallest smile could be seen. It was the first time Starfire smiled in forever.
