There it was.....A grey sky highlighted with black stars.
'Am i dreaming' Jack thought. He looked around and noticed something else apart from this unusual sky. A star unlike any other. Its size took up a good portion of the sky. It caught his attention, but a dark star shining? What was going on. And just when jack thought it couldn't get any weirder....it did.He looked down and saw himself, or was it? He had an uneasy feeling looking at him, but he was not alone. Besides this mysterious person he caught two human figures. Who were they? He didnt know. The only thing he knew was what he could see. And what he saw was a tall man with a good build, and at the other side a female with a thin and rather small build. As much as Jack wanted he couldnt get closer from where he was. He was stuck in the air, looking at them like some type of spectator. Their faces were too far and blurry to see, so jack decided to shout for any response.
"HEY! WHAT IS THIS PLACE!"
But no response. He then heard one of them speak. " So Jack... is that it?"
At this moment he knew it was him down there, because he did not answer that.
" yup. Zamok noch'yu"
' zamok what? What does that even mean, why did I say that?' The Jack on the ground suddenly looked up setting his gaze at the Jack in the sky. He was startled but the Jack on the ground quickly turned his head and continued walking.
'His face is mine, i couldn' t make out much but I'm sure it is. Why then were my eyes glowing like that? Just what is this place?!'Suddenly the world spinned around himm Jack shielded his eyes for he did not know what was happening....but when he opened them, he found himself in a different place.
In front of him stood a being definitely NOT human. He tried to find a way to identify it but his mouth could not keep up with the words his brain produced.
" A snake...no....wait....its mist.....fog?.... its a shadow....but not human..a snake shadow.....its unrecognizable"
Jack knew that was a lie though. He just did not want to look at its red blood eyes, and its massive crescent moon shaped fangs. From behind him however, he heard a loud thump.
A door opened and Jack came back to his senses. He looked around but to no avail could he make out any specific details. It was a huge room with a throne in front and massive windows behind it. The door that was opened was as big as the windows. And when Jack turned around to see who or what did that his heart sank.
Usually in nightmares as soon as fear has reached a certain limit a person wakes up. Jack could not. He seemed traped. He wanted to wake up but he couldnt, for what he saw before him was the scariest thing he had seen in his life.
He saw himself wounded and bleeding. He was carrying on his right hand a scythe covered in some type of green ooze.
Jack looked at this version of himself and yelled, " WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, GET OUT OF HERE!"
He was reminded then that he could not hear him. The bleeding Jack with his glowing white eyes rushed towards the snake shadow. <it> responded to and slithered towards Jack in a straight line at twice his speed. He then saw his white eyes turn suddenly dark before they hit each other and everything went blank."Where am i?" Jack said.
The only thing he could see was white. But unlike before he was able to stand and felt a marble floor below his feet.
He walked straight until his nose bumped against a wall....but it was completely white."Well obviously this is a room"
"Nice job Einstein what gave that away?" Spoke an ominous voice. The voice had an accent he could not identify. But what he did identify is the fact that the voice was from a woman and this woman was nowhere to be seen.
" who are you"
" oh darlin, you can think of me as an acquaintance"
" an acquaintance? I dont even know who you are"
"You hurt me, but well that was ecxpected. You are here because i have something to tell you"
" me? Why me?" Jack then started another effort to look for this woman, walking around and bumping into walls.
" because you are a bridge from these two worlds and it is only you who i must tell this"
" why should i believe what you say?"
" ah human doubts, I expected this as well. But listen carefully, if you believe or not...that...is up to you. But whatever decision you make will have a consequence"
Jack gave up and finally sat down. " i guess i have no choice. Do i"
" thats the spirit. Listen to what im about to tell you" Jack started to float again but the room he saw appeared to shift scenes and colors right in front of him. Many varying from lands he had never seen, people he had never met, and colors that simply made no sense to him. Jack closed his eyes while shielding them from this.
"Everything you know is not complete. Everything you see is not what it seems. And everything you feel is not yours".With a loud gasp Jack opened his eyes and was now on his bed, inches away from falling over. Which after a few second he did with a loud thump. " oww what?" He looked around and found plastic bags with food on them alongside boxes that made the room looked like an unorganized filing cabinet gone wrong......yup, he was back home. Jack laid down on his bed once more disregarding the fact that it was morning already. He took one big breath of relief and told himself
" what a weird dream".TO BE CONTINUED
