Magical Mirai 2019 Meets Phoenix Moon

So Many Animals!

It was another school day in Negi Root City. Alexis Nile or Magical Mirai 2019 was getting things for her second period when she hears the modules Noble and School whispering to themselves. She couldn't tell what they were saying, so she decided to join in.

Magical Mirai 2019: Hey, guys. Whatcha talkin' about?

School: Oh, hey, Alexis.

Noble: We were just talking about things.

Magical Mirai 2019: Like what?

School: Phoenix Moon and his house full of animals.

Magical Mirai 2019: Animals? What kinds of animals?

Noble: Just cats and dogs.

School: He rescues these little guys from abusive owners.

Magical Mirai 2019: That's cool. So, uh, where can I meet him?

School: Seriously? You want to see his pets?

Magical Mirai 2019: Sure. I mean, I love animals. And I haven't seen his house yet.

Noble: Well, here's his address.

She handed Alexis a slip of paper. Suddenly, the bell rang.

School: Welp, time for class. See ya later, Alexis.

The 2 friends went to their classes and Alexis went to hers.

Time went by slowly and school was over for the day. Alexis decided to not go home, but instead to the direction of Phoenix's house.

Magical Mirai 2019: I just wonder how many pets this guy has adopted.

After about a 30-minute walk, she could see Phoenix's house in the distance.

Magical Mirai 2019: Wow. It's a big house.

She walked closer to it. Suddenly, she heard a growl coming from nearby. She saw a German Shepherd walk up to her, showing its teeth.

Magical Mirai 2019: Uh...nice dog?

The dog barked at her and ran up to her. She tried to run away, but the dog was much faster than her. The dog knocked her down to the ground.

Magical Mirai 2019: SOMEONE HELP ME!!!

She suddenly heard a bird cry coming from up above. She looked up and saw a gigantic red bird about to land on the ground. The dog got back so that the bird could land. The bird cried at the dog, making it whimper. What happened next made Alexis's eyes widen with disbelief. The bird had an reddish-orange around it and it was getting smaller and smaller. Now there was no longer a bird. In its place was a rather beautiful Len module.

Magical Mirai 2019: Whoa.

???: You okay?

Magical Mirai 2019: Yeah, I'm fine.

???: Ace! What did I say about being nice to strangers?

The German Shepherd whimpered.

???: Tell this nice girl you're sorry.

Ace went up to her and sat down.

???: It's okay now. You can pet him.

Alexis petted the dog's head. Ace got all excited and got on his belly.

Magical Mirai 2019: (while rubbing his belly) Aw, I accept your apology, Ace!

???: I hope he didn't scare you.

Magical Mirai 2019: He did a little bit. But I'm alright.

???: What's your name?
