In the world of Remnant, there are four kingdoms: Vale, Atlas, Vacuo, and Mistral. Of course, there are fallen kingdoms everywhere because of the Grimm. There's just one thing about all these fallen kingdoms. There is always a statue of a man, holding a sword. No one knows anything about the statue, not even the immortals walking Remnant. He came before their time, but who is he? This story is going to tell you who he is and why he is depicted like this.

It was a normal day for the teams RWBY and JNPR, having lunch together in Beacon, talking about things. Somehow, their conversation went to a certain statue. "I think he is actually a she!" Ruby Rose, the leader of RWBY and the youngest student at Beacon, stated with pride. Everyone else laughed at her, but she wouldn't take it. "No one has any records of 'him' being a guy, he might be a girl!"
"Ruby, I really don't think you can say that!" Yang Xio Long, one of the members of team RWBY, told the young Ruby.
"It's not as crazy as Nora's dreams, right?" Ruby told everyone, silencing them all because they all knew it was correct.
"But it just can't be correct! Why would someone make a statue that looks like a guy, if it isn't a guy?" Weiss Schnee, another member of team RWBY, asked Ruby.
"Maybe because the person looked like a guy!" Nora Valkyrie, a member of team JNPR, told Weiss in her usual energetic way.

"When have statues ever been apart of human civilisation?" Blake Belladonna, the last member of team RWBY, asked all of them. She just wanted to read a book, yet everyone was talking about this statue.
"Blake, we're having a serious conversation!" Jaune Arc, the leader of team JNPR, told Blake.
"When have you ever been in a serious conversation, Jaune?" Asked Blake, making Jaune start to poke his food and dipped out of the conversation.
"More important question: Why is he in every single fallen kingdom, yet not ours? It's weird, isn't it?" Lie Ren, a member of team JNPR, asked everyone.
"It is weird, but it's because we have no idea about the statue! If we even knew a single thing about the statue, maybe we could figure it out, right?" Pyrrha Nikos, a member of team JNPR, added. Everyone looked at her, all with opened jaws.
"That's brilliant! We should go on our day off! Supposedly, there's a statue of her! Near Vale." Ruby was quite serious about it being a her, but she knew as much as anyone else.
"It's a he!" Everyone else, at the table, shouted at her. She just hid in her cloak, mumbling something.

On their day off, they all went together to find this statue. They left the city of Vale, looking for the statue, but they couldn't find it. They all met back up, wondering where it could be, until Ruby took one step back. A hole formed, causing Ruby to lose her balance, falling down the hole. "RUBY!!" They all shouted at her.
"Oum, she's such a dunce!" Weiss angrily stated, making everyone look at her. "But she's our teammate. We gotta go after her." Weiss jumped into the hole, being followed by everyone else.

Once they landed, everyone looked for Ruby, shouting her name. They got a faint response, "Guys, over here! You gotta see this!" They could just barely hear Ruby say that. They followed the voice, going into a cave.
"What is it, Ruby!?" Yang worriedly shouted, running to her half-sister's side. Everyone stopped, looking at one spot in the cave. Yang didn't notice, until Ruby pointed at the thing. Yang turned her head, looking at a statue of a man, striking a Grimm down.

They all looked at the statue, some with curiosity, some with fear, until they heard the statue make a cracking sound. They all rushed up to their feet, ready to strike with their weapons that they brought. Ruby had a scythe mixed with a sniper, Weiss had a rapier, Yang had shotgun-gauntlets, Blake had a katana that could change into a gun, Jaune had a normal sword, Pyrrha had a shield and a spear that could transform into a rifle, Nora had a hammer that was also a grenade launcher, Ren had two daggers that were also guns.

They heard another crack from the statue, breaking the statue just a bit. They continued to get ready to fight, but the statue moved, striking the stone Grimm and breaking it. The statue moved it's mouth, but no sound came from it. The statue just face-palmed, making a sighing gesture. His weapon was a stone sword, nothing special about it. Even though it was just a stone sword, it made a clean cut across the stone Grimm, slicing it into two. Everyone felt the wind pressure from the sword, blowing back whatever it could.

The statue saw the people, who looked quite weird to him, just staring at him. He tried to speak to them, but he got no reaction.
