A new life, and a dammed future

A cloudy day greeted the earth as Reece awoke from his slumber. Everyday was the same with his life, it often got bland, but those days would soon end.

The sounds of screams and fighting shrouded the area like a cold wind. A girl surrounded by what can only be described as demonic. A few quick motions and a few words spoken then brilliant blue flames rained down from the heavens obliterating the demons in this girls wake.

"Luna, we must reinforce the south our people can't last much longer!" Desmond said

Desmond, he is a tall fellow one of the captains of the magical empires army he wields enchanted weaponry sword and shield.

"With haste friend, we must stop them here!" Luna replied.

Luna is a beautiful brown haired girl she wields what is known as moonfire, only very few people in history have control over this rare power.

Reece just following his daily routine is walking to work until a blinding light from sky. It was as if the earth stopped spinning people werent moving even the wind had subsided. He saw what looked like a dragons head in front of him.

"Greetings mortal, I am known as kraktik." he said. "You have been chosen to help fight for your planets survival." He added

"Is this some sort of dream!? What the hell is goimg on?" Reece shocked

"This is no dream, your world will soon end if we cannot stop the demons you must fight to protect it. I will grant you the sight and power needed to get you started but i can do nothing more." kraktik explained.

All of the sudden the people walking had vanished. He was in the same place but it seemed so much different. He saw a monster eating away at a corpse. The monster had spotted him and ran after him with inhuman speed. Reece had thought it was the end until a the demon was engulfed by a blue flame.

"Idiot!!!" the girl screamed. "Why were you cowering against a lone demon if you are here them you can fight" she ranted on.

"I'm sorry, I was caught off guard and i dont even have a weapon."Reece said.

The girl looked puzzled for a second then said "you must be a new one then. I apologize for my behavior, My name is Luna. What's your name?"

Reece introduced himself then Luna told him to go to a building a few blocks away to wait for her there and he did so.

"Well, I'd like to formally welcome you to what your world really is" Luna said with a fake smile. "Since you just got here we have a small test for you to figure out what sort of power you possess. Whatever the test says is what you are given till death you have no choice either fight and perhaps live or runaway, and die for sure."
