Orientation Day

hey there Ella here so this is the first official story that I'm posting, I'll try to drop a chapter every 3-4 days or once a week, just know I'll be as constant as possible with my updates I'm not used to writing so I'll do my best to keep you guys on your toes. Each chapter will be in Rose's POV unless said otherwise as for the rest... you'll find out for yourself can't give everything away now can I, enjoy your read.  :)

 -ROSE WAKE UP YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL

Yay, don't we love it when our mom wakes us up at the crack of dawn with every vocal cord she has?

Jesus give me the strength, ugh, getting out of bed is the last thing I want to do right now but I must, considering I have college orientation today

-I'm up, I'm up. 

I groan as she turns on the light in my room.

-Rose, you always do this, come on, get ready I made you breakfast.

-Yes, mom, I'm going.

I get ready as fast as I can, I check the time and I saw that I was going to miss the bus, I rush to get all my stuff together, I tell my mom I'm going to miss the bus and she gave me a ride to the bus stop. Thankfully we moved fast I caught the bus right on time.

One, one-hour bus ride later...

I get to school, lost as hell because I had no idea where the auditorium was I saw some students walking towards a certain section of the building so I follow them I get inside and I realize the I was in the gym building so I walk towards a different section and I find the auditorium.

I check my phone and see that I was the only student there and I had a good 30-minute wait in front of me. I decide to watch Netflix on my phone after I finish my episode of Big Mouth (A/N amazing show btw ngl) I look up to see a bunch of students, I didn't recognize any and I was lowkey grateful that I saw none of the kids from high school there.

The orientation starts and we're all sitting in the auditorium the teachers spent about an hour talking I zoned out a bit, after the little seminar they made us do team up with the other students in our rows for a little scavenger hunt, we had a great time.

After all the students were back at our starting point one of the teachers talked a bit more then she gave us multiple activities that we could pick one from, to do before lunch, I went to this bootleg version of speed dating, they called it 'speed friending', I'll spare you guys all the details, we were there for 2 hours going back and forth, it was so funny I met a lot of funny people I made a new friend she's amazing. Her name is Angel.

After the activities we went to the auditorium one last time, as we get inside, I noticed Angel was sitting two rows behind me we chatted for a bit before getting cut off. She asked me for my Snapchat I passed my phone to her. My papers slid off my legs and as I reached for them, I felt my phone get taken out of my hands, so I assumed it was Angel who had it.

I picked up my papers and turned around to see if she was done and I was caught of guard by what I saw. This tall, curly-headed guy was holding my phone, while that she was searching for something

-Whose phone is this? He asked, holding my phone up

I looked at him with confusion

-It's mine and you knew, considering you took it from my hands. I said sarcastically 

-Ohhh you're right, that would make sense and...  since your phone is already open and, in my possession, I'm giving you my snap. He said with confidence

I could use some new friends, so why not I thought

-Okay then give it to Angel after considering she is the one who asked me for my snap in the first place. By the way Angel, what are you been looking for?

- I'm looking for my phone, I can't find it- Oh here it is. She said while laughing. The three of us exchanged Snapchats and Instagrams. We heard the teachers talking, we waited for them to send us to lunch. Once in the cafeteria, we started talking and Mr. Curls finally introduced himself as Jayden two other guys came to our table and they were super nice.

It was finally time to go home and as we all walked outside of school and on the walk towards the subway we got to know each other a lot better and I thought this semester will be a great one.

Boy was I wrong.
