"My name is Apollo Justice and I'm fine!"
His yelled statement echoed about the location he was at, allowing him to hear his own cry. He smirked, only to inhale deeply and yell out again, this time, trying to make himself louder.
"My name is Apollo Justice and I'm fine!!!"
He choked before he could listen to his feedback, realizing he strained himself.
"C-crap..."
Apollo decided to sit down and catch his breath, opening up his phone to see what time it was.
9:30 AM. 30 minutes before he had to make his way over to the courthouse. He sighs, admiring the view before him.
It was a serene cliff side, overlooking a beautiful forest, valley and river. With the city behind him, nature in front, he felt at peace. This was his favorite place to go.
Apollo was never one for the city. It was always small towns and remote places for him. It was how he grew up. However, he knew that in order to be able to have a job in this field, he needed to be there.
He let his mind wonder, thinking about all he's experienced. His mentor in jail, his idol soon becoming his boss, the death of his best friend, his mother finally revealing herself to him. The years have been rough. Unforgiving.
He thought about all the prosecutors he's faced. He's faced the rookie killers, a samurai, and even a servant who aimed to smite all defense attorneys. Each one was quite the challenge and equally quirky.
He chuckled as he counted all the times he's watched his boss get attacked. He frowned, counting the times he nearly lost a case. He mused at his bracelet his mother gave him, and the times it's shown him his ability to perceive the tension in another person.
Apollo was no stranger for the weird. Most of his life was a string of odd occurrences. Ever since he fell under the care of Mr. Wright, the weirder things became.
He definitely wasn't expecting it when his boss admitted he saw Apollo like his own son. Had he not crushed his voice that day, he would've kept his cool. Yet, the young man found himself breaking down and embracing the other in a tender hug.
He smirked, getting up as he only had 10 minutes left to spare. He looked out upon his cliff once more, taking a final breath. One more for good measure...

Doors opened to the designated lobby, and the room suddenly lit up. The one in need of help was a sweet older lady, smack dab in her 60's. She had a gentle scent of perfume, and her appearance was that of a simple woman of crafts.
Her name was Pearly Feltz, and she was convicted of murder, strangulation, against her neighbor, Cherry Baker. The two never met eye to eye on a lot of things, but she would never bring harm to any other human, let alone Mr. Baker.
Apollo greeted her with a pleasant smile, fixing up his sleeves as he sat down next to her. He quickly cleared his throat before he began to question her.
"Mrs. Feltz, I promise you, I will get you out of this. All I need from you is for you to tell me the whole truth."
He opened up his notes he had for this particular case, ready to write down any new information she was able to give. She nodded and told him everything she knew that day. She was sincere as ever.
She had seen from her kitchen window, someone enter his home. The smell of pie was fresh in the air, so the way she saw it, they were supposed to be there. It was only a matter of time before she heard the sounds of a fight happening nearby.
