Jaemin locked the door behind him, walking away from the house he shared with Renjun and Hyuck. The house was empty, Renjun was hanging out with his chinese friends and Hyuck still had classes, so Jaemin decided to take a walk.

The pink haired male sighed, there had been a lot of stress in the past month, with university starting all over again and having to work a part time job.

He looked down, lightly kicking the gravel beneath his shoes, continuing to walk the path, but quickly stopping when he had heard a soft whimper nearby, looking around and looking at the bush that was beside him.

'hm.. it doesn't look like anything is there.' He thought to himself, crouching down to take a closer look at the bush.

He shrugged it off, about to stand up when suddenly a little head popped out of the bush, making the pink haired male yelp and jump a little, landing on his butt.

"Ow- wait, that's a baby bat!"

Jaemin exclaimed in realisation, gently picking up the baby bat for further examination. He winced- it looked injured, as if he had been attacked by other bats. That was odd, bats usually don't attack or fight eachother, they mostly compete for resources. He shook the thought away, quickly standing up with the baby bat in his hands, heading home.

Quietly opening the door and entering the silent house, Jaemin looked around for any sign of his housemates. Seeing the house empty and completely silent, he went straight upstairs to his room, making sure to close and lock the door to his room. He walked into the bathroom, setting the bat on a folded towel that was conveniently unused and was on the bathroom counter, then grabbed a box of wet wipes and tissues to give the baby bat a bath.

Jaemin's bathroom pretty much had everything you needed, except food, he doesn't keep food in his bathroom, he says it's unsanitary.

While Jaemin was busy getting the baby bat's bath ready, the baby bat calmly fell asleep on the soft towel, not realizing that he would be forced to take a bath.

Jaemin chuckled at the bat who was sulking in the corner after his bath. The bat just really seemed to not like baths- even though all he really did was wiping down the bat's fur, since there was a little bit of dried blood and dirt on it. Well, the dirt would have been there anyways, he did find the bat on the ground, laying on the dirt in the bush.

"Hey- don't sulk, you should be happy you're clean now!" He said optimistically, gently poking the baby bat, knowing he wouldn't get that much of a reaction.

Jeno looked up at the human who had saved him and was offended by what he had said- does that mean he wasn't clean before? Isn't that kind of mean? He wanted to say something, but he didn't have enough energy to turn back into normal, so yeah, that was also why he was sulking. But maybe he is a little bit happy, he didn't like to be dirty anyways, he was a clean vampire.

The baby bat felt himself get placed onto the bed, feeling the human hop into bed beside him.

The human didn't say a word, he simply took out his laptop and worked on something.. Jeno wondered what he was doing.

'It would have been really great if he told me his name.. it feels really weird to call him human inside my head.' Jeno thought to himself, wondering what he should do.

He remembered that Minhyung would tell him how great it was to snuggle up to a human, which was usually Johnny. Johnny was the only human Taeyong trusted, since he was with Jaehyun, and Taeyong knew that Johnny would never leave Jaehyun, they loved eachother too much.

Jeno actually considered snuggling up to the human who had saved him, but he didn't fully trust the human yet. But then again, the human saved him and gave him a bath, he could have killed the baby bat at anytime but here the bat is, sitting on a comfy bed, clean and alive.

Jeno let out a sigh in his head, giving into his desires and reluctantly got closer to the human, snuggling up to him. If the human noticed it, then he didn't say a word. Jeno could get used to this.
