Lionel's P.O.V
It was about 4:00 PM. I woke up Jayla from her nap so we can get our anniversary started.
"C'mon baby." I said shaking her awake. She rubbed her eyes and took my hand. I lead her outside and put her in the car.
"Where we going?? I'm in my pj's."
"Don't matter. Just sit back and wait."
I put the key in the ignition and drove off. The drive was about an hour and a half. Jayla fell asleep on the way. As we arrived at our destination i got out and a man walked up to me. He was in on the plan so he helped me. He took the items out of the trunk and left. When he was gone i woke up Jayla and walked her inside.
"Why we here??"
"Stop asking so many damn questions." Another man part of the plan approached us.
"Right this way." We followed him outside. Jayla's eyes got huge.
"NOOOO WAAAAYY!! A JET?? FOR REAL!? How did you afford this??"
"You don't worry about it. Only the best for you baby. Get on." We walked on. The ceiling lights were low, there was rose petals all over the floor, two seats facing each other with a table in the middle.
"Have a seat." As soon as we sat down two people came out with food.
"Dinner is served." The waiters said in unison.
"Thank you. Oh my gosh babe this is amazing you didn't have to do all this."
"I wanted to." We started eating and the plane took off.
After we finished we moved to the couch in the back of the plane and watched a movie. Of course she fell asleep. Ion know why she always so tired. Lazy ass.
The plane landed and i woke her up. Again. I pulled out a dress and some heels and jewelry.
"Get dressed." She did as i said and then i left.
It was about 7:30 when we landed. I got off the plane and went to go get ready.
Jayla's P.O.V
Damn Lionel is going all out for me right now. He is the sweetest thing ever. I washed my body in the bathroom on the plane and now i was getting dressed in the clothes he gave me. This is the prettiest dress. It's baby blue with silver beads around the plunging neck line and around the slit up the side. The heels were six inch silver heels and i had a silver heart shaped necklace.
I took one last look in the mirror and got off the plane.
"Right this way madam." Ooh fancy. A man took my hand and lead me to a limo. He helped me in. I was expecting to see Lionel in the back but he wasn't there. There was a rose on the seat with a note. It said, "This Is Only The Beginning." I wonder what he meant.
The limo stopped, the door opened, and the driver helped me out. Ion know where i was but it was nice. It was a sort of big house it kinda looked like Lionel's from the outside.
The driver opened the front door and i walked in and saw Lionel standing there in a white dress shirt and black pants. He looked so handsome!!
"What's going on??"
"You're even more beautiful in that dress than i imagined. Welcome to my Hometown." I know he did not fly us all the way to New Orleans. This is awesome!! He kissed my cheek then lead me into a big room. It was huuuuugggggeeeee!! There were like 3 couches and 2 TVs it was crazy beautiful. All of a sudden a bunch of people walked out.
"Baby this is my mom, my dad, my grandma, my sisters, my aunts, my uncles, and some of my cousins."
"Well hot damn she fine!!" One of his cousins said. Lionel smacked him in the back of the head and we all started laughing.
"Thank you and it's nice to meet all of you." Then more people came out.
"Mom?? Elijah?? Auntie Co?? Leah?? Uncle Jeremy?? What are all of you doing here??" I was so confused but happy to see my family.
Lionel walked over to me. And grabbed my hands.
"Jayla. When i first met you....you were an asshole. But still so beautiful. I saw you at a party one night and was going to come up to you but Dre cut in. I saw you were getting upset and i don't know what happened but all i saw was red and i hit him over the head with a bottle. I thought i freaked you out so i left. The day you texted me at Denny's and had me pretend to be your boyfriend i wanted you to be mine. After our first date i realized how happy you really made me. Over the past 3 years we've been to hell and back but there's nobody i would have wanted to do it with but you. You are so special and just the thought of you makes me smile. I don't wanna ever lose my reason to smile. I don't wanna imagine the rest of my life without you in it ILoveYou baby with all my heart." He dropped to one knee. "Jayla Williams will you marry me??" By this point the whole room was in tears. Me the most. I didn't know he was the one that hit Dre with the bottle at the party. I tried to stop crying long enough to give an answer.
"Ohhh myyyy gooosssshhhhh!! Yes!! Yes i will marry you!!" He hopped up, put the ring on my finger, picked me up, and we kissed like there was no one else in the room.
Imma bring this book to an end soon..i don't wanna drag it out. But awwwwww!! Best Anniversary EVER!! Well now we know who hit Dre with the bottle. Are they cuute or what?? Lionel and Jayla sittin in a tree lol jkjk but they are cuute!!
