Roma's baby was busy crying. While Roma was busy making the decision. It was a popular thing to be done in the Evolve world.
To throw your baby out of the window , of course.
Roma couldn't help but notice that her baby looked a lot like him, the only problem was she had blocked him out of her life forever. She frowned at the sight of the crying baby.
She wrapped the baby in a light blue blanket but that didn't stop baby from crying. She quickly picked a marigold off the vase on the table and put it in the pocket of the blanket. The baby's crying was unbearable as it was getting louder and louder by the second.
The crying wasn't helping her rethink her decision, it was actually helping her hate the baby even more. She held the baby up and headed for the window.
"If I'm not all you need, then I don't you need you !"' She spoke to no one in particular as she took one last look at her baby. The baby's eyes were still closed so she couldn't see his golden eyes and the baby's cheeks were awfully big.
She sighed as her eyes got watery before she could cry she dropped the baby out of the window. The 7th-floor window that is.
She watched as the baby fell to the ground, but she couldn't see much because it was raining and it was dark down there. Roma didn't have to worry though she knew someone would catch him.
'Now I can regret this later but what has been done has gone down,' she thought. The baby was crying even louder than it was before , it was thrown out of the window. The sound made her close the window. At the bottom of the apartment, you can see a crying baby being caught by a weird looking creature.
" Did your mother throw you out of the window ?" The creature asked the baby with a robotic smile. The creature had blue cat ears, robotic arms, and a robotic body with no legs because why would you need legs if you could float? The baby was still crying and moving around as the robot studied it.
The robot's stomach opened and out came a baby bottle filled with breast milk.
" There you go !" The robot said as it took the bottle and put it in the baby's mouth. The baby stopped crying and started drinking and drinking until the robot decided that the baby needed air. The baby started laughing as a raindrop landed on its hands.
'' Rain, that's called rain and your father's name is Rain .'' The weird-looking creature told the baby, just like any normal weird-looking creature would have, after all, all weird looking creature's loved to teach someone something. The creature looked around and all it saw was darkness.
" hmm..I'll name you shadow," it said as it tickled the baby's nose making it laugh.
" Shadow, Your name is Rain Shadow from now on." The baby laughed as it was taken far far away. Far away where the baby probably won't be thrown out of another window or will he?
