Clarysa's pov
"Clarysa wake up! Its noon!" Jaime exclaimed. My body ached from last night as if it was being beaten like in my dream.
"Jay something is wrong." I said with a shakey breath. He looked at me concerned. I peeled off the covers I hard a soft gasp. My body covered in bruises.
"We need to go to the doctor." He said as I got out of bed. As soon as I tried to walk I collapsed. Jay picked me up and rushed downstairs.
"Mom! Dad!" We heard quick steps approach us. Jay didnt stop though. He went straight for the door. Mom opened it and we all went to the car. Dad got into the drivers seat and we got into the back. The length of the drive was a blur. I didnt know how this happened but maybe they can help. I was pulled from the car and we go into the pack hospital.
"Steven! Help us!" Dad shouted. I heard more footsteps before I was placed on something hard but also soft at the same time.
"What happened?" Steven asked quickly.
"I went to get her up as it was noon and she never sleeps that long. She was covered in bruises and scars." Jay explained trying to be calm.
"Clarysa can you remember anything?" They asked me as they checked me over.
"No. I know I had a dream about Liam being hurt. It was nightmare." I groaned.
"Shit. Okay I need you out. We have to get her checked out quickly." Steven said before he ushered my family out. I was in and out. He came into my vision one more time before I gave up seeing. I let my body go to sleep.
(TIME SKIP)
I wake up with a beeping near my head. Okay that seriously going to get annoying. I sit up and the pain had dulled thankfully.
"Oh thank god you are awake." Jay said before hugging me gently.
"Jay what happened?" I asked confused.
"They said your body gave in due to the injuries. We got ahold of Liam though. It looks like he wasnt much better and that means you both are seeing the doctor shortly." Jay said gently.
"Why? Is he okay? Jay I dont understand." I said as I worried about my mate.
"Hes fine. Since hes an alpha he healed faster and better. Your body didnt exactly have the same result. You and Liam are special but that's going to be explained. Do you want to go put on some clothes and walk around?" He asked gently.
"Yes please." I said getting out of the bed. He handed me the clothes before leaving the room. My body has healed mostly thankfully. I got dressed in leggings and an oversized sweatshirt. It was simple and comfy. I got the socks and tennis shoes on. I went out of the room and they were all there. They all hugged me and were happy to see me.
"How are you feeling, sweetie?" Dad asked gently.
"Better. Any news on Liam?" I asked quietly.
"Ask him yourself." A voice said behind me. I turned and smiled. He came over and hugged me. My body relaxed as his scent took over my senses.
"I'm so glad you're okay."I said but it was muffled by his shirt. He released ne but interlocked our hands.
"Its not me we were worried about."
"What happened?" I asked concerned.
"Rogues. Lots of rogues." He said simply. I nodded before turning back to my family.
"Alright come on you two. Dr. Steven wants to talk with you." Jay said starting to walk down the hall. Mom and dad didnt speak to Liam. I understood that. It would come with time. It was just nice to be with Liam. We were lead to an office and there sat the doctor who helped me.
"Hello Clarysa and Liam. Please have a seat." He said looking up at us. Mom, Dad, and Jay stood in the back while Liam and I sat in the chairs.
"What's wrong?" I ask not being subtle.
"Its not something common in wolves. I have only seen this one other time in my life and I was a child at the time. You two have a special bond. It can explain why you have found your mate early. Normal mates do have the tendencies to feel like one person. You two practically are one person." I understood but I didnt. It was weird to think about.
"So you're saying if one thing happens to one of us, it happens to both of us." Liam said as confused as I am.
"Exactly. So as you were fighting, she got all the blows. Your body tries to help heal the other."
"So that's why her healing didnt work as fast." Liam said as we pieced it together.
"Exactly. Now learning how to block that is not easy. It will take time. It's similar to putting the walls up in your head when you communicate." He explained with all seriousness.
"How do we do it?" I asked quietly.
"That is what you have to figure out. I dont know the answer to that question. They haven't had time to research and write this down. You just have to learn." He said with a slight smile.
"Thank you for your time, Steven." Dad from behind us.
"Its not a problem, Leo. Although I do need to warn you. If one of you die. You will feel their death ten times more than normal. This wont cause your death but the rate of suicide is major compared to other wolves." He said grimly. My heart sped up at the thought of Liam dying. A hand took my mine gently and I smiled at him.
"Thank you Doctor." Liam said as we stood up. He pulled me close and I knew he had the same thoughts that I did. We left the doctors office quietly. No one spoke as we went out to the car. They let me leave with Liam but we still didnt speak as we left to my house. It was a lot to take in.
"I think we have to move in together sooner than expected." He said as we got into my drive way.
"What about the agreement?" I asked quietly.
"They would understand. It's not safe being apart anymore." He said turning off the car.
"How do we tell them?" I asked slightly sad at the thought of leaving my family.
"Together." He said with a smile before we got out of the car. We took a deep breath before heading to the house. This wont end well.
