"(Y/N)! You overslept again!"
I opened my eyes to see my mother standing over me, I groaned softly, no matter how many times she did this I could never get used to it. I sat up and stretched before looking over at her "What? We don't have anything important to do, do we?" I asked, rubbing my eyes. She rolled her eyes at me. "The entrance exam is today, you know, the thing you've spent the last two weeks training for." She told me.
Entrance exam? What entrance exam? I sat there for a good 10 seconds before I finally realized what she was talking about, the entrance exam for U.A! How in the hell could I forget!? I quickly got up to get dressed, my mom walking out of the room, stopping at my doorway and looking back. "Breakfast is on the table, I made you some coffee as well." She told me before she left, I shouted a quick thanks as I finished getting ready and rushed out of my room, not even bothering to close the door.
I arrived at the kitchen, my little sister was already there eating waffles, she was pretty weird, she hated pancakes, but loved waffles and each time we tried to tell her they were the same thing, she would flip. I started to scarf down my food, my mom must've noticed because she sighed "Calm down, you eat that fast you'll throw it all up and it won't matter." I slowed down a little, but I was still eating pretty quickly, I then gulped down the cup of coffee she made me and was making my way to the door.
My little sister noticed and she quickly got out of her chair and ran over to me before she hugged me. "Don't think you can just leave without a hug!" She exclaimed, looking up at me with a toothy grin. I returned the smiled and hugged her back, even picking her up and spinning her around a bit, before setting her back down. My mom walked over and she gave me a kiss on the cheek "Remeber sweetie, try your best, and try not to get yourself hurt." I nodded in response "Yes ma'am." I gave them both a quick goodbye before I began to make my way there.
I was so nervous, I mean, my quirk was pretty strong and I had a chance, but I didn't even know what we were going to be doing. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't notice the person in front of me, in which I accidentally tripped over him, getting me a face full of gravel. The other guy fell as well, and I turned to look at him. I had a hard time figuring out if he was a kid or not, due to his unusual size, but I decided not to make any assumptions and quickly stood up before offering my hand to him. "Sorry about that, you okay?" I asked, he looked up at me before taking my hand and standing up. "Yeah, I'm fine." He responded.
I examined him for a bit, not only with the unusual size, he had a pretty weird hairstyle, he had these weird balls on his head and I wasn't able to tell if they were real or fake. We must've spent at least 5 minutes just staring at eachother before I realized I had somewhere to be. "Anyways, sorry again, and I uh, have to go." I said, sending him a small awkward wave before I went on my way. It was a strange encounter I had to admit but I had to think about other things.
Now was the time to go back to being nervous.
{Little information, your quirk is basically you can summon chains from your wrists and use them as weapons, you make make then up to 7 feet long and can make then shorter if needed. Whatever damage your chains take, you will received that damage and if they are cut, it will give you a severe amount of pain. If you use your chains for too long your wrists will start to cramp and you won't be able to use your quirk for at least 2 hours depending on how bad the pain is.}
