Sorry I took a long time to update but I had finals I had to study for :( but finally I'm in winter break :)

I just want to say thank you to everyone that reads my story it means a lot to me and I do get everyone's comment sent to my phone, so I read them all so if you don't have anything nice to say about my book then don't read it. You don't need to leave a rude comment you're just wasting your time.

I know that I have horrible grammar and spelling. I've always been horrible at it and from the beginning of this story I've always told you guys that there is grammar and spelling mistake so I don't understand why some people are getting so upset and I am an amateur writer not a professional so keep that in mind.

But to everyone else that leaves positive comments thank you so much <3.

Please keep on voting and commenting <3

Since I left you guys with a cliffhanger I made this chapter a little different and special. I really enjoyed writing this chapter for you guys !!!!!

It all happened so fast in just a blink in an eye. One minute I'm looking outside at how peaceful it looks and the next....

A bullet hit the window and I screamed as loud as I could, I automatically just crouched down but ended up hitting my head on the corner of the marble counter on the way down. I could still hear the bullets trying to go through the window but they weren't going through the window.

"Lexi!"

I was going to yell back for help but I heard the window crack which made me cry out instead. I started to sob uncontrollable when I heard the glass shattered.

I saw a shadow coming into the kitchen running straight towards me, he kneeled down and carried me out of the kitchen while the bullets were still flying in.

Oh why the hell is this happening?

I was being carried back up stairs and I saw blood dripping onto my shirt and I noticed it was dripping from my head. I started to feel very over whelmed with all of this and I felt my head starting to drip onto the persons shoulder.

Alex P.O.V

I felt her head go back while I'm running back up the stairs to keep her safe.

"Lexi" I yelled and shuck her but I didn't get any answer back.

Finally I got back to the room and I stopped hearing the bullets from downstairs. Are these people serious, trying to start a war with me. Don't they know who I am and what I can do?

I laid Lexi carefully on the bed and she was still unconscious with blood coming out of her head.

I pressed my hand on her chest and concentrated on her heartbeat. It was beating slowly kind of like when someone's sleeping but she was fine.

The pup! With the surprised attack and having Lexi fainting I forgot about my pup.

"Please be okay" I started to repeat it over and over.

I kneeled down and placed my head on her stomach and concentrated really heard to try to hear the heart beat.

"Thank God" I felt a pressure come off my shoulders when I heard the baby's heart beating strongly, it sounded more like thump from how strong it was and I couldn't help but feel proud.

"You have my gene" I grinned.

Usually you can hear the baby's heart beat when they are at least 6 weeks old, which I thought this was the case since Lexi is half human but I can hear my pups heart beat and its around 4 weeks old at the most. The pup is going to be a wolf like me.
