The Illusionist ran through the sea of people barely making it before the subway doors slid fully closed.
The brunette, breathing heavily, pulled her jacket hood over her head, she noticed a man who reeked of drugs getting extremely close to a uncomfortable looking woman backing up as the man got closer to her. The girl argued with herself whether to help her and risk having something happen to herself or stay where she is and not risk it at all. She chose doing what was good and what was good was to risk it. She casted a illusion of the man's loved ones simply dying.
The man automatically let get of the woman and ran off the subway as soon as the metal doors slid open. The Illusionist followed far behind staring at her black sneakers as she walked.
Soon she made it home, flopping on the couch. Life had went downhill since her parents got divorced. She wondered why they got divorced when they were so in love with each other. Soon she was pulled from her thoughts when there was a knock on her door. She didn't know what she was expecting, but it definitely wasn't a man with a eye patch.

"Who are you?" She asked.
"Nick Fury." The man answered. The girl nodded.
"Well come in I guess." She said, with a look that just screamed confusion as the man walked in.
"Brynlee, I'm not gonna waste your time because of I did I'd be wasting mine. I came here to ask if you'll join the Avengers." Nick blurted. If Brynlee was confused before, then I don't know what she's feeling now.
"What?"

During the time he was there he explained that he knew where she got her powers from and that she could help. But not why he needed her to help.
"So the place known as HYDRA made my biological parents give birth to me for experiments? And that's how I have my powers?" Brynlee said.
"Yes so are you in or not?"
"Wait how the hell do you even know this?" Brynlee asked, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"I got eyes and ears everywhere. Now are you or you not in?"
"Fine." Brynlee sighed. "Wait why do you need my he-" The man was already gone. There was a note on the table 'Be here tomorrow 8:00- Maria Hill'
"Who the hell is Maria Hill?!" Brynlee exclaimed.
