Birthday Party

Today is Sheila's 8th birthday which means my birthday is next. We're playing hide'n'seek and its quite fun, but I got a bit bored so I said "Let's have a twist, let's do a dare for whoever first gets found." Karina didn't like the idea too much since she didn't know what crazy things would end up happening, I got to do the first dare because Karina and Sheila didn't wanna do the dare just yet, so I made the dare and I said the first thing that came to mind 'Kiss first found' I wanted to be the first person found only cuz I wanted to be it. Karina was first found this game, I hid in the play house Sheila's mom and dad built for her and us girls. I was day dreaming about eating cake when I heard Karina yell that she was found so now Karina's it, I got a bit flustered and stomped up to the porch because I wanted to be it, I playfully stuck my tongue out at Karina but she was already counting. I ran to the nearest hiding place I could think of and before I knew it Karina yelled "READY OR NOT HERE I COME!!" I closed my eyes for a quick second then I opened then and Karina was standing right there in front of me, I smile and then tell her where Sheila was and the next thing I know is Sheila screached a slight screech and then I heard a slight thud and I look and I see Karina and Sheila on the ground, "they must've fell after Karina scared Sheila." I thought to myself as I didn't realize what happened just then, all I knew was I was it and I was happy cuz I got to be it. I started counting and as I was counting I heard Karina scream and then Sheila yell "STOP THE GAME!!! KARINA GOT HURT!!!" I was a little mad because I finally got it and I didn't even get to find anyone. I looked at where they were and I seen Karina red with tears in her eyes. You could tell she was hurting so me being the tallest and strongest out us three I went over and I helped Karina up and I helped her to the house, Sheila's mom was there and she helped us and bandaged Karina up. We ended up going to the room afterwards without cake which made me sad but it was okay, friendship is more important then cake. Before we all fell asleep I asked Sheila how it was to kiss Karina and she answered "Her lips were soft and I liked it. I don't know what that means but I want to kiss her more..." She looked down a little ashamed and I wanted to help her so I lifted her head softly and I looked into her beautiful Violet eyes, I never realized how big and shiny her eyes were until now, I told her that if she wanted she could kiss me to see how it felt. Her eyes sparkled a little bit and she said excitedly "Really?!?" I nodded and she kissed me and I kissed her back...... I just then realized why I made that dare before the game of hide'n'seek.... I liked Sheila, like I like-liked her...... I was only 7 almost 8 when I realized that and it makes me confused until this day.... I decided to move to the floor and snuggle Karina since she looked cold. I then fell asleep as I touched my lips and felt the heat in my cheeks...
