Darkness. Darkness everywhere. A black nothingness. Where am I? Who am I? What's going on? A panicked thought in the dark.
A memory. One memory. In that memory, a group of people. A girl. Also... a man. A tall man with messy blue hair.
The man in the memory leaped in front of the girl, yelling, "Shadyon!" As the man passed in front of her, somebody standing across from them, about ten feet away, flung his arms at her, a strange purple fire shooting out of his hands. When the fiery substance collided with the blue haired man, he was flung onto her, now engulfed in flames and screaming in pain. Shadyon was shoved to the ground, him on top of her, uselessly screaming, "No, Rion! Someone help, Markus, stop it! Let him free!"
The man -Markus, just smiled. His face was very sharply designed. His nose seemed to have been broken at least twice, and was currently bleeding. His smile was full of pointed teeth, filed down to deadly canines, although several appeared to be missing or broken, and his eyes appeared to be slits in his head, while his eyebrows were arched. He had shoulder length black hair that seemed to slightly float around his head. The last thing noticed were that his eyes weren't colored normally. They were purple.
"I told you this would happen, Zi, I warned you, but you couldn't find the sense to listen."
"No, no, I am listening now, Markus, you can tell me-"
"Shut up!" He screamed. "I told you to leave things alone, but you didn't listen! You are a foolish child-" He paused. "And for that, sadly, you must be taken care of. Goodbye, Zi." With that, he was in front of her, his left hand on the burning body of Rion, but yet, not burning. With his other hand, he gently brushed the back of his fingers along her face, and things slowly started to get blurry around the edges and fade away.

There was a noise. Voices. Those are voices. The noise made its way towards Shadyon, getting louder and louder.
"Hello?!" A panicked call. Someone was coming for her! "Is anyone there?"
She tried responding, but her voice came out as a quiet rasp, and she could feel her strength escaping her, as she laid there, unmoving. She went numb, and as a bright light found her face, she finally stopped fighting and left.
