Spencer's POV: I spent all of winter break with my mom in El Paso,Texas . I finally met the dead beat she left my dad for. His name is Daniel and to be honest he's giving me some creepy ass vibes but thank god I only had to stay for two weeks. I dont know what she sees in him but he makes her happy so I guess I have to suck it up. I was blasting music in my ears when my door swung open.
Mama: Hey baby need some help?
Spencer: Yea thanks I don't know why I packed so much I was only here for a couple weeks.
Mama: Don't remind me I didn't know these days were gonna pass by this quickly...
Spencer: I know I wish we could see each other all the time. These last two weeks have been amazing.
Mama: It could be more your dad and I were talking and we both agreed that you should spend some more time here. We were actually talking about moving you over here.
Spencer: oh... mom I love you but I can't move out here I have my soccer team and my girls in New Jersey. I can't just throw that away.
Mama: Well I understand but Daniel and I were also talking and it would be better for your mental health. you would be away from your old bad habits and bad memories. This could be a new start.
Spencer: he doesn't know anything about my situation he's just some idiot you met online.
Mama: Don't say that about him Spencer. He is a licensed therapist and he knows what best for you. I'm not gonna force you to move out here ok. Just know if you make one slip up me and your dad agreed your moving here permanently.
Spencer: fine whatever.

Jordan and Vivian ran into the room and hugged me goodbye. I picked them both up and swung around a couple times.
Jordan: I'm gonna miss you spence.
Vivian: I'm gonna miss you more.
Spencer: I'll see you guys as soon as I can. I love y'all sooooo much.
I looked up at my mom and she smiled at me. I gave her a weak smile back. I can't believe they are trying to make me move out here but it's never gonna happen. I changed and I'm better now. I put Jordan and Vivian down and checked the time.
Spencer: hey mom we gotta get going.
Mama: ok let me grab my keys and I'll be ready to go.
Spencer: ok bet.
I went outside and packed my bags into the back of my moms car and we drove to the airport. My mom walked me in and we gave our last hug goodbye.
Mama: text me as soon as you land you know how I feel about planes.
