Aya's POV
"And you better not have any ideas on escaping."
The warden slammed the door shut and I flinched at the loud slam. My body was shivering like crazy and I could see my breathe every time I exhaled out; I was freezing. I looked down at my hands and they were shaking, along with starting to lose feeling in my fingers. I shut my eyes and fell onto my side, holding my knees to my chest. I felt like I was in an endless blizzard that I couldn't escape from.
Once again, I felt powerless. My wings were turning blue, and I could slowly feel my power drained from my body the longer I'm in here and I've only been in here for a minute or two. Sapphire told me if I'm in a freezing room or environment for too long, my wings could freeze and deteriorate, meaning I will lose my Fire Angel power for ever and there is no way to get them back. Not to mention my risk of freezing to death as well.
The Firelord knows how to take me out and in my condition, he will succeed.
I exhaled with shaky breath, "Aang, whe-where are yo-you?"

Third Person's POV
With Prince Zuko and Sokka
"What do you think they did to, Aya?" Sokka asked Zuko as they flew to the Boiling Rock to save her, Hakoda, and Ruka.
"My best guest is they put her in the Cooler." Zuko remarked, clenching his fists at the thought of his cousin freezing.
"Doesn't sound friendly." Sokka mentioned.
Zuko shook his head, "it's not. If Aya is in a Cooler, she could possibly freeze and being the Fire Angel, ice and cold temperatures is her weakness. She could die..."
It was silent after that and both of the boys looked down in sorrow and worry.

At the Boiling Rock; Inside the Coolers
Sokka scurried through the Coolers, searching for his sister. He searched through almost all of them until he got to the last on the end and opened it to reveal a freezing, water tribe girl with frozen wings.
"Aya..." Sokka whispered and went to her side, gently touching her body. "Oh no..."
Zuko ran in and saw his cousin on the floor, freezing to death.
"We have to get her out of here." Zuko immediately declared, taking her side. "Now."
Sokka was about to pick her up, when Zuko heard something.
"Someone's coming!" Zuko called and shut the door.
Two guards walked by the cells, chatting.
"Yeah, new arrivals coming in at dawn." The male guard said.
"Anybody interesting?" The female questioned.
"Nah, just the usual. Some robbers, a couple traitors, some war prisoners," Sokka looks at Zuko with shock and worry as the guard spoke. "Though, I did hear there might be a pirate."
"No fooling!" The female chuckled.
"War prisoners. It could be your father and Aya's mother." Zuko remarked.
"I know." Sokka said.
"Well, what should we do? Are we going ahead with the plan or are we waiting another night?" Zuko asked, worrying about Aya's state and health.
"I don't know! Is it right for me to risk Aya's life, Suki's freedom, all of our freedom on the slim chance that my dad and Ruka are gonna show up?" Sokka reasoned.
