Chapter 31: Recollection (想起)

From striking tides, Muzan was able to grow his head back in a split second.

Unusual and irritated, everything was going so fast that he couldn't comprehend what was to come next.

He uses his blood technique to strike back at Gyomei, but Gyomei counterattacks to avoid the striking thorns that Muzan created.

"You bitch! What the fuck did you do to Oyakata!" Out of nowhere, Sanemi was the first to arrive.

And soon every pillar started to make it.
"It's Muzan! Kibutsuji Muzan! This guy won't die, even if you cut his head off!" Gyomei said.

Everyone was surprised to that the man before their eyes was him. That was Kibutsuji Muzan.

"Muzan!"
No second thoughts crossed as everyone just started to come and strike at him. But what could've been an all at once fatal attack, many random doors opened below everyone's feet.

"You seriously thought you could corner me?! You're all going down to hell now! You pathetic demon hunter pests! I'm slaughtering you all tonight!"

"You're the one going to hell, Muzan! You're not getting away! I'll defeat you for sure!" Tanjiro says.
"Then come and get me if you can! Kamado Tanjiro!"

Everyone ends inside the infinity fortress. Some were separate alone, and some were able to stick together.

You landed on the ground safely without falling to your death. You got up and looked around.

Where am I? I'm alone and away from everyone.

Walking around the fortress felt like a maze to you. You didn't know where everyone was, and you had no idea how to get out of here.

Opening a door, you saw demons coming out. You strike quickly to avoid all the demons that tried to attack you at once.

"Breathe of Dragon, First Form, Iron Claw"

All of the demons disintegrated right away.

You picked up the pace to try and find anyone. Mostly your brother or Tanjiro, if anything.

"This place is like a damn maze" you said.
Soon you saw someone running pass a hallway.
"Hey!"

As soon as you were to grab their attention, a open door below your feet pulls you away.

Falling you landed on your side.
"What the hell" you groan from the pain as you slowly get up.

"My, my, if it isn't little bird. Struggling to flap your wings again?"

A strange voice grabs your attention. You look up and see a strange woman, no doubt a demon. But she was a part of the upper moons.

You get up quickly and got into position.
"You're an upper moon demon, yes?" you said.
"Are you saying that you don't remember me? Well, this truly breaks my heart"

You looked sternly at the demon woman. You really did feel an amount of power overflowing her.

"I have never seen you in my entire life"

The woman scoffs.
"Well seeing that you don't remember, I'll tell you my name, and as I tell you, why don't I tell you a story. Maybe then it will help you remember"

"I don't care"
"I want you to remember why I've hated you my entire life. Why my only reason is to kill you over and over again. I want to see you suffer for eternity"
