The Shadow Guardians Beginning

Prologue

Long ago when the earth was a new planet there lived many people. They lived in peace with every creature. For there were nine woman of all different races. They each had a twin brother. They were the ruling council for all that lived in Alor. A separate dimension from earth. This is where all the supernatural things came from. But there lived a man whose heart was corrupted with hatred and Jealousy. As the ages wove on he became more powerful. He went from people to people gathering to him all those whose hearts whereas corrupted as his own. They continued to gather, and finally the nine sisters realized what was happening. But it was to late they had grown arrogant in their time of peace. So it took them to long to realize what was happening. The dark man had sent out his most evil of warriors and kidnapped the nine twin brothers of the council. The dark man knew that the council's only weakness was their twins. He told the council that if they did not surrender he would kill everyone of the nine brothers in torturous agony. The nine women surrendered, but there was a fault in this dark man's plan. The oldest woman the Shadow Guardian was the lord Hades wife, and Hades just happened to be the dark man's half-brother. So the dark man could not harm her or threaten her in any way or he would start a war he could not afford to fight. So he gave her back to his brother. His trophies were not complete without her. Furious at this the dark man slaughtered the nine brothers, and he bound the power of the eight reaming women to him. It has been said by many that to kill the twin brother is to make his sister mad with rage. The ninth sister said goodbye to her son and daughter and went to the dark man's castle. Sneaking in a quiet as the shadows she crept to the man's bed so enrage that she did not realize that it was merely magic. And as she stabbed down the dark man jumped from the shadows at her she whirled around sensing him. Their swords clashed for the first time. They fought for what seemed like years and then the dark man made a mistake. When the Shadow Guardian's sword strikes it strikes true. Her sword slipped past his defenses and struck slipping into the joint of his shoulder. But in focusing on that strike she let down her magic defense. The dark man saw this and was able to bind her to him as he had done the other eight taking her magic and will to fight. The man had a better plan he would trade the women for her children. He sent his message to his brother telling him that if he gave up his son and daughter that he would return to him his wife unharmed. Hades agreed and went to rouse his children from their beds. He would give up his only children who would be the Shadow Guardian if there mother were to die to save his wife he would give them away. But as he entered the room that they shared he knew that they were not there. the Shadow Guardian had used her very essence to send her children away to the new dimension a mirror to this one except for one small fact there was nothing supernatural in it. Using one essence is a very deadly thing and in doing this the shadow guardian passed into the sword of the guardian as ever guardian before has. The dark man had been denied once again. The ages wove on and Hades went to the other dimension to find his children but never did. The dark man made the eight women his wives and within a year the each bore him a set of twins a girl and a boy. Within four years of the children's birth he took the children away from their mothers and made them watch their moms die. Two years later on the children's sixth birthday he made the girls watch there bothers die. Years went by and the sisters became beautiful and ready to wed. When they turned 17 the dark man Bound them to him. This is the circle that went on for 2,000 years. Then finally the daughters of the council had gained enough of their power back. Their children were about to turn four and they wanted them to escape they gathered the ancestors weapons and their children. Opening a portal to the other dimension they sent their children through. The dark man felt there magic and rushed to stop them but he was to late the children were safe hidden in the other world. The sisters in their full power used their magic to place a curse on their father. So he becomes Galen the Cursed Evil using there last breath and magic they closed the portal and branded their father so that he may never enter that other world. As they died there souls joined that of their ancestors in the swords that they had sent off with their children. And it is said by many that live in Alor that one day the Nine sisters would come again to overthrow there father/uncle and take back their land. Caroline awoke from her strange dream. It was the same dream she had been having for two years since she got her weird pointed ears. I wonder what it means she thought as she looked out her window to the night sky. oh well what she was more worried about was her best friend Arien tonight was her 15Th birthday and she wished with all her heart that she could be there with her. She said a quick prayer to God to keep her safe and went back to bed.
