"I'll see you guys at four" I said as I closed my locker. "bye" Michael, Aron and Zelda said. I swung my bag over my shoulder and walked out the front door. I was about to get on the bus when I received a message from Antonio.
Antonio:I'm going to be staying the rest of the day with my kids, are you okay on your own?
Me:yeah I'll be good.
Antonio:I'll have Voigt check on you.
Me:no! I don't want a babysitter.
Antonio:okay, but if anything happens you call him.
Me:yes.
Antonio:alright take care
Me:you too.
I placed my phone in my pocket and started walking down the street.
I got a strange feeling that somebody was watching me.
I brushed it off and continued walking.
Once I arrived at my building I walked in and walked towards the elevator. "wait" Markus said and rushed into the elevator. "hello" Markus said and smiled. "do you not have a life" I said. "I do, but it starts at midnight" Markus winked. "So you're now a male stripper?" I asked. "yes" Markus said,"not yet but one day I'll be as famous as Channing Tatum" Markus said. "Someone's optimistic" I said. "what are you doing tonight?" Markus asked. "I'm hanging out with my friends" I said. "oh, never mind then" Markus said. "No tell me" I said. "I wanted to invite you to go see a movie" Markus said. "A movie?" I asked. "yes, but you've got plans" Markus said. "What movie?" I asked. "Annabelle" Markus said. "I could have a change of plans" I said. "really? You'd ditch your friends for me?" Markus asked. "yes" I said,"and I wanted to watch Annabelle" I added quickly. "Pick you up at eight?" Markus asked. "yes" I said and walked out as we arrived at my floor.
I unlocked the door and walked in. I placed my bag on the floor and kicked off my shoes. I washed my hands and fixed myself a sandwich.
I sat on the couch and started watching The Middle.
Once I was done eating I got up and sent Zelda a text.
Me:hey I won't be able to make it, sorry.
Zelda:no worries :)
Me:see you on Monday.
Zelda:bye
Me:bye
I got up and took a shower. I changed into a black Nirvana t-shirt with a pair of black skinny jeans. I rolled up the bottoms and slipped on a pair of black converse. I dried my hair and left it wavy. I added mascara and liquid eyeliner. I added a denim jacket and rolled up the cuffs. I grabbed my phone and wallet and walked out into the living room.
At exactly eight o'clock I heard a knock on the door.
I got up and opened the door.
"Hello" Markus said and greeted me with a smile. "hello" I said. "you look lovely" Markus said. "thank you" I said and looked over Markus' outfit. He was wearing a black crewneck with a pair of grey skinny jeans and red vans. He was wearing a black beanie and his hair was spiked up. "participating in no shave November" I said as I saw that he was letting his beard grow out. "You like it?" Markus asked as we walked out. "I like beards" I said very nonchalantly. "gonna let this grow out then" Markus said and held the door open for me. "thank you" I said as we walked out into the night.
"So tell me about you" Markus said as we walked down the street. "what would you like to know?" I asked. "your story" Markus said. "Okay, well I'm from San Diego, born and raised there. I lived with my mom, my parents divorced when I was twelve. I'm an only child. I like music and cats" I said,"I have no hobbies so I'm basically a loser" I said. "We'll then" Markus said and laughed. "what about you?" I asked. "well I was born in Green Bay, but I moved here as soon as I finished high school I moved here to study photography, and I am currently an assistant to a photographer, and I want to become a street photographer. I have two younger sisters Rayne and Ryan, they're fourteen, I'm also a loser" Markus said. "look at that we're both losers" I said and smiled. "yeah I guess we are" Markus said and we walked into the movie theater.
