Luke sat in his limo outside of the Castillo building reading the newspaper that had a 2-page spread on the death of Dean Castillo, Dave's uncle.

He could care less. The man was an old stubborn brute. When he went to Australia to get Dean to sign his stocks over he gave him hell. Well, he figured it wouldn't be easy but this was just ridiculous. He tried pulling out all the good stuff. His best persuasions and incentives but nothing helped.

The stubborn old man was dying from Lung cancer and hated Dave because he never increased research on the deadly cancer to find a cure to prolong his life. Luke assured him that BEAU would open a developmental department just for him if he signed over his stocks but he refused. Luke may have lied a lot in his life but he was telling the truth about the department for him.

Luke was there for four hours doing his hardest to convince the old man that he wasn't scheming but Dean just kept saying. . .

"I never trusted your father and I sure as hell won't trust his seed!"

After about five hours of arguing Luke knew he couldn't go back home empty handed. The future of level three depended on it. The future of the Beautons depended on it. And so, his patience wore extremely thin and he took a pillow and threatened to kill him if he didn't sign. It took a while for Dean to believe that Luke would actually do it. But when Luke's patience was completely gone he had a tendency to become aggressive. Dean could see the seriousness in Luke's eyes and quickly signed the contract.

Luke could've just left him there in Australia, alive. But, he knew the moment he left that old bastard would call the police. Of course there would be no proof and Luke could make the issue disappear before it escalated but he didn't want BEAU to take another hit. They couldn't afford anymore negative press right now.

It wasn't something he wanted to do but just something he had to do. He could still remember the exhilarating feeling he got ended the old man's life, He was bound to die anyways so it didn't matter, right?

"Sir, the woman has arrived." Luke's driver said from the front.

He threw the newspaper away and prepared himself to go outside and meet Jane, but stopped. He watched her exit her limo with fascination. She was really a beautiful woman and he couldn't believe he had forgotten her.

That morning at the hospital he thought she looked familiar but couldn't figure out from where. And even after he found out that she was Dave's sister he still couldn't remember the many one night stands they shared 4 years ago or the moment when he stole her first kiss at the tender age of 10.

He felt like an idiot for forgetting her. He was never one to pine over girls but she was one he wouldn't mind breaking the rules for.

She began walking up the steps to the building and turned back around when her driver called out to her. Aparently, she left her phone in the car.

When she started walking down the steps back to the driver Luke's breath hitched in his throat. Not only was her skirt short enough to reveal her luscious thighs but he could see enough of the scar she got because of him.

There was one time when Luke was closer to Dave than Lucas. As a child he would always visit the Castillo estate and play with Dave and Jane. She was younger than him and her brother but was extremely mature for age. Dave didn't mind if she played with his friends because she could always hold her own. Whenever they'd play baseball, soccer or football and she got hurt, which suprisingly wasn't very often, she would never cry and handle it like Luke and Dave would. She wasn't trying to prove she was tough like the guys, it was just how she naturally was.

As Luke looked on the scar that destroyed her thigh he started to reminisce on that awful day.

They all had decided to climb a tree that was on the outskirts of Dave's estate. It was a grandfather tree that would make any adventurous kid smile from ear to ear. They all climbed far up in the tree and had a grand time. Dave's butler came searching for them and forced them out of the tree. Dave came down with ease and so did Luke. But when it was Jane's turn it was in that moment she realized, looking down at the ground, that she was deadly afraid of heights.
