When Jazmine took the job of being an assassin her one goal in life was to take down anyone who posed a threat to innocent people's lives.
Sure, what she was doing wasn't particularly legal, but she only killed to help others.
Jazmine currently was walking the streets headed straight towards one of the least guarded Royal palaces in the 5 Realms.
For a reason, no one knew about, the palace had no Body Guards. Sure, they had guards that protected the treasury and the jewels and important things. But none for the actual Royals.
She had been hired to take down the Prince, in hopes of stopping the kingdom being in debt for the next century. Because in most cases when a Kingdom goes in debt so quickly it's usually because the King or someone is hogging the treasury for themselves.
Well, most cases anyways.
And when Jazmine snuck past the guards, having to play as a servant towards the Prince, her target, she had been wrong about him.

"You want me to do what?" She asked completely bewildered about what the Prince asked her to do.
"Take a break," He grinned, looking up from his book, sitting on a chair in his room.
"Er... Why?" She asked, tilting her head to the side, "I'm your servant, aren't you supposed to ask me to do... Uh, servanty things?"
"Well, that's normally what my sisters do," He said, ruffling up his hair some, "But I'll do my Laundry as soon as I finish this chapter, and I believe that's all. I'll do the laundry so you don't have to. You can clean my armor tomorrow, and then you'll be done for tomorrow as well. Does that sound good?"
She stared at him, aren't servants supposed to do more than that? Is this guy serious?
"Uh, I guess, Sire," I said, bowing slightly.
"Oh, no need for that, just call me James. It is my name after all."
I frowned and then threw up my hands in exasperation.
I had to put up with him being nothing but amazing and nice for three weeks. There was nothing wrong with him!
"Is there something wrong?" James asked, closing his book, and setting it down.
"No! There's literally nothing wrong, that's what's wrong!" I groaned, "Listen, I'm an assassin, and-"
"An Assassin?" He questioned, raising his eyebrows.
"Yes, and-"
He grinned and jumped up, "This is perfect! You can kill me then!"
"Uh...What? No."
"Please?" The Prince looked up at Jazmine with puppy dog eyes.
The Assassin hesitated, "Uh, I'm not very comfortable with this."
"Come on, it's just one stab, it'll be easy-peasy," The prince spread his arms wide leaving his throat and chest vulnerable.
"Look, I'm gonna level with you," She said, "I took this job thinking you were a bad guy. Because usually when a kingdom goes bankrupt this quick is because the dude in charge is hogging up the treasury for himself. But once I got past the guards, and actually had to spend some time with you, and you're just," She threw her arms up in disgust, "You're just a really nice person!"
"But if you don't my sisters won't be able to rule, and the Kingdom will be in debt for the next century!"
"I'm pretty sure arranging your own death isn't going to work."
"Your whole job is to commit murder," James said, "And now you're worried about some little family problems?"
She pinched the bridge of her nose, "Have you ever thought about faking your death?"
