Chapter 4: Surprises & Dates

Mitch's POV

I know something is upsetting Kayla and I want to find out so I can help. I can't stand seeing a beautiful girl like this crying.

"Mitch!" Jerome whined.

""What is it Jerome?" I turned my head to face him. "I'm hungry!" He whines again. "And? The kitchen is right there." I say pointing in the direction of the kitchen.

"Ugh fine I'll get something myself." He got up from the couch and headed to the kitchen. I saw Kayla smile shyly and hide her face with he hair.

Kala got up to follow Jerome to the kitchen. It was me and Kayla. Alone. With nothing more than an inch between us.

"So wanna tell me why you were alone in the bathroom crying?" I asked. I really hope it wasn't too soon. "Uh..." Yup, too soon. "Listen i'm sorry, too soon?" "No it's fine, it's just past experiences and personal stuff." "If you don't mind me asking, what sort of 'experiences'?

She paused and looked at me, looking like she was about to cry again. I pulled her into a hug. "You can tell me. I won't tell anyone else. I promise."

i know all this is too soon but I want to help her! I know she is not alright.

"Meet me at the park tomorrow and I'll tell you." She told me. "Okay."

"Oh I guess you are going home today. You're aren't going to stay and watch Jerome and I loose our mind." "Uh yeah I probably should." She said. "I mean if it's ok with your mum, you're welcome to stay again. I could teach you this really awesome game called Minecraft, me and Jerome both upload videos to Youtube."

She paused and smiled, "I already know how to play. And I have a YouTube too. Almost 50k subs." She said. "Wait really?" "Yeah and I know who you are...BajanCanadian." She smiled.

"Why didn't you say anything abou that before?" "I don't know, I guess I was kind of nervous and I've never really had an encounter a YouTuber before." "You know we are just normal humans." "Yeah who are incredibly funny and extremely hot!" She froze covering her mouth with her hand.

There was a long silence.

"Sorry that slipped out." She apologied. "But was it true?" "Uh...maybe." She said quietly.

"Don't worry about it. I mean it is true." I joked causing her to laugh.

A couple seconds later Jerome and Kala enter. And Jerome of course had his coffee.

Jerome sat on the couch and winked at me. Did he hear everything we talked about? Well great, if he doesn't keep quiet we are going to have a problem.

"Mitch can I talk to you in the kitchen? Please." "Yeah sure buddy."

When we entered the kitchen we had to be quiet since it was attached to the living room. (A/N I am going of Jerome's Montreal vlog and the vlogs Mitch did)

"You ok?" "I'm wonderful! You on the other hand need help." "With what? Why would I need help." I was really confused. "It's obvious you like Kayla and she likes you." "And how would you know this?"

He set his coffee down after taking a sip, "DUDE!" I shushed he. "Sorry but it's so freaking obvious! Trust me!"

"Let me handle my own love life! I'm meeting her tomorrow at the park." I explain. "Good! Don't screw it up!"

"How would I screw it up?!" I am now extremely lost.

Kayla's POV

Mitch and Jerome went into the kitchen. Leaving me in the living room with the girl who I'm pretty sure wants to kill me!

"So..." I try break the silence which fails horribly.

Please hurry up guys! Soon after they enter the living room again.

"So now what?" Mitch asked. "I think I know what Mitch wants to do." Jerome smiled sipping his coffee. I kind of wanted to throw something at him but Mitch beat me to it.

"Do you have any board games?" I had to ask because I didn't want to know what was going through Jerome's head. "Yeah I think I have Clue and Monopoly." Mitch answered.

"Oh fantastic we have a choice of playing the most confusing game on earth or play a game where we probably won't be friends after!" We all bursted out laughing. Even Kala, I'm surprised.

"Pick one." "I pick Clue!" I yelled, "I don't feel like loosing friendships after i just made them."

"Ok."

3 hours later.

"What the hell is even happening?!" Jerome yelled. Considering what happened in their Minecraft Clue video I don't think he is enjoying this so much. But it is extremely funny!

"Jerome it isn't that hard! Just look for clues." "Easier said than done Mitch!" "Hey! don't yell at me!"

Jerome got up and walked over to Mitch. He bent down and hugged him. Mitch hugged back as I snuck a photo of them. "Aw! Merome! And this is so going on Instagram!" I yell opening up the app.

"What?" They both stopped.

Everyone froze and I felt it was probably good time to run. "Well.. Bye!" I got up and ran outside with my phone.
