Chapter 1

His smile turned into a frown saying, "Lets break up. "

The grin plastered on my face without a second turned upside down, "What?"

He smiled sadly and said "I'm sorry babe, this relationship does not work out for the two of us, it's not you, it's me"

My eyes started to become blurry so I just smirked at his words "So, dapat pala sinabihan mo ako na nasa telenovela pala tayo para naman nakapag prepara ako ng mga linya ko rin. "

"I'm sorry."

"Well, I'm sorry too, kase grabe! 'Di naman masaket! Hindi ako nasaktan." I shouted at him and walked out.

Ngunit, kabaligtaran ng lahat ng sinabi ko ang nararamdaman ko.

Oo nasasaktan ako ng sobra, Lahat ng panahon sa dalawang taon na iyon parang bula na nawala nang biglaan dahil lang sa pagod na siya. Naglolokohan ba kami dito? Yet, I will never show how heart broken I am.

"Sige, girl, iiyak mo lang lahat yan" I blew out my currently runny nose as I start crying

"Kaya pala naging cold siya bigla ay sa kadahilanang pagod na siya?! Putek naman! Kung pagod siya bakit hindi nalang siya matulog o kaya mag pahinga siya." magpahinga hanggang sa hindi na gumising! Gusto kong idagdag. I cried out.

Mica started laughing "loka-loka ka, Quinn, ibig sabihin no'n ayaw niya na or kaya may iba siya" She explained

Alam ko naman kung ano ibigsabihin lahat ng pinakita niya dahil ayokong harapin yung totoo.

Angie grab the bowl of pop corn and pause the movie "Ang alam ko nagmomovie marathon tayo, bat ako lang nanonood? Kada movie marathon 'la ako maintindihan kasi nagiging chika time niyo, mga pisting yawa kayo." Me and Mica started laughing.

"Sorry na, bili nood na ulit tayo, shhhhh" Mica said.

I look at the TV and accidentally saw his name on the screen.

When I saw it I started crying again.

"Girl, stop na" ani Angie at nagbato ng pillow at me. I started laughing while crying.

BALIW.

I know, I am crazy

"Basta bukas, sure na dapat kayo na pwede kayo, bonding time na nating tatlo yon. Us trio!!! And para maka move on na rin si Quinn"

"Basta ako, pwedeng pwede" I said and started watching again.

𝙰𝚐𝚊𝚒𝚗, 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚗𝚎𝚡𝚝 𝚍𝚊𝚢

My friends and I headed to the beach resort of Angie. We are going to stay there for 2 weeks. I'm really glad my parents let me come with them.

"Okay, so pag umalis tayo dito at bumalik sa Manila dapat wala na yang heartbreak mo na yan" aniya Angie but I just rolled my eyes at her.

ANO YON?! INSTANT? PAG WALA NA AKO SA BEACH BIGLA BIGLA AKONG MAUUNTOG AT MAGKAKAROON NG AMNESIA. AWIT SAYO.

"Fine. " I said and smiled sadly.

We immediately put our luggages inside our room and went to the restaurant at the first floor of the resort.

"Oh my gosh! Ang daming pogi!!!" Mica screams and Angie shuts her mouth with some fries. "ouch!"

"Kahiya ka girl" Angie rolled her eyes. I laughed at Mica's face.

I saw a couple walking down the beach being wholesome happy like they were on some shooting.

Ughh.

"Restroom lang ako" I lied to them. I found myself inside the elevator and my eyes started again tearing up. The door was about to close but someone's hand blocked it preventing it from closing so he could get in.

I tried to keep my emotions still but the tears on the edges of my eyes keeps falling. "You okay, miss?" I just nod, so when the elevator door opens, I got out and straightly went to the room.

𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚗𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝

Two of my friends are sleeping soundly and I head outside the resort and to the beach. I sit at the sand and felt the nice soft sand on my feet.

I felt someone sat beside me but I didn't look, I was sure it's one of my friends.

"Hey Elevator girl" I recognize the voice and look at him straight in the eyes.

"Ikaw nanaman" I said in shock.

"What are you doing here at 11 pm? " He said with a small smile.

"Bakit ko sasabihin? Stalker ka no? Hala oh my gosh baka kaya pala kasama kita sa elevator and then kasama rin kita dito! STALKER AL-" I shouted but was cut off by him covering my mouth with his hand

"Keep quiet, don't worry. I'm no stalker. I don't like a girl like you" He stated but I keep quiet "I just mean that I don't like girls easily and I am here to think about stuff not because I am trying to stalk you" He smirks and I just rolled my eyes.

You know what they say, it's better to talk to a stranger kasi atleast yon di ka nila agad ijujudge.

I stand up and held out my hand. "Tara? Lakad tayo?" He laugh and nods. He stands up without taking my hand, awkward.

"Why did you suddenly ask me to walk with you? Am I that gwapo?" He smirks and laugh

"GGSS much?" I asked and just start walking ahead of him. He quickly catch up.

"So... Ano problema mo?" He asked.

I felt the water hitting my bare feet as I walk. "Bat ko kwekwento sayo? Di naman kita kilala" I rolled my eyes and I heard him whispered something.

"Wooow... So ikaw yung nagaya na lakad sayo tas biglang sasabihin mo na di mo ko kilala. To na magpapakilala na, Im Tristan Berlin, half filipino half american. I live in LA and I am just here for vacation and maybe it might be my home too. And you are?" he introduce himself

Cute ng name ah... Parang aso... Charot!

" I'm Quinn Santos, from manila. Happy?" I face him and put a 'I-am-not-in-the-mood' smile.

Tristan smirks" Not yet. I still want to know kung anong nangyare sayo kanina sa elevator"

"Kakabreak lang kasi namin ng boyfriend ko... Ay ex pala. And we've been dating for 2 years and I almost thought na siya na talaga para sakin. But the one day everything vanish and now I am here kasama yung dalawa kong friends para daw maka move on ako" I smile sadly. "Ikaw? Ano kwento mo?" I curiously asked.

"I am actually here para sa isang photoshoot-" I quickly cut him off

"So Photographer ka? Why did you choose to go here then?

"Yep... But its just a small business not that big yet. Well I choose to be here because dun nga da photoshoot and then for vacation na lang din, para malayo ako sa stress ng LA." He said sadly

"Katulad ng?" I was actually getting into a conversation with a stranger.

He look up and said "Family problems, my dad didn't like the thought of me being a photographer"

We started talking and just kept talking for hours and hours until we didnt realize it was already morning.

"Uy, umaga na pala." I quickly stand up seeing the sunrise going higher and higher.

"Sh** di ko na pansin yung oras" He said and quickly get up.

"I need to go. Baka hanapin ako ng mga friends ko" I was about to leave but suddenly remembered something "Hangang kelan ka pala dito sa pinas?" I asked.

"3 weeks pa.... Andito na ako for a week so I still have 3 weeks" He smile

"Okay... I'll just catch up with you again, Tristan" I started walking away
