The Battle of The Cave And The Net

"Snake! Jund!" Shouted Russ before the fighting began, hoping for the two of them to hear and come help.
A mage soldier from behind the man pulled out a bow and drew back an arrow, the archer appeared to be a woman, actually. If flew at Cheyenne's head but she quickly evaded it with her good agility. A soldier pulled out a sword in one hand and in his other hand he had a fire spell ready. He charged at Cry with great speed but as he ran forward he slipped to the left a bit and only managed to make a small cut on Cry's arm, but it still started bleeding. Cry quickly turned around and slashed at the guys head, chopping right into his skull and instantaneously killing the mage soldier. The last two mage soldiers that hadn't attacked yet but had swords and magic drawn ran for Russ. Russ held back his hammer to prepare for attack. The soldier who had gone to his left swung his blade at Russ, but left a large enough sized opening for him to attack. He swung but he missed and it clanged against the mage's armor. The Mage soldier to Russ' left shot an electricity spell at Russ sending him flying backwards, landing on his back. Cheyenne ran behind the soldier on the left and stabbed him through his back with one of her swords. The man yelled in pain as she took the sword out of his back, and he fell to the ground dead.
Russ tried to quickly get off the ground but the mage kicked him back to the ground.
"I'll save ya buddy!" Exclaimed Cry before he threw his axe at the mage soldier. It struck him in the back of the neck and the axe stuck into it. He gave a gurgling moan before falling to the ground. Russ quickly scrambled up off the ground. The archer woman behind the man stood still for a second before firing another arrow at Cry, but because she was so shocked she missed. Cheyenne used the one long ranged spell she learned, which was a fireball spell, at the last Mage soldier. Leaving only the man they first met.
Russ charged towards him and smacked his hammer into the man's cheek, knocking him to the ground. Cheyenne then quickly walked over to him and picked him off the ground. She held his throat tightly with her right hand.
"What is your name!" Demanded Chey.
"My name isn't important, but yours is... Cheyenne."
"How do you know my name!" Shouted Chey.
"I know everything darling." The man said. He snapped his fingers and suddenly disappeared from Cheyenne's hand.
"Shit, we lost him!" Said Cry.
"We should go look for Jund and Snake." Russ pointed out.
"Right," Agreed Cheyenne "We should tell them what happened."

Snake and Jund were heading down the other side of the cave together. Like before there was nothing of interest, until they came across a large ruby that was laying on the ground.
"Hey look snake, a ruby!" Jund said while pointing towards the ruby on the ground. "I'm going to take it."
Snake looked at the bright red ruby shining on the ground, but noticed something strange about the ground the gem was lying on. As Jund was bending down to pick it up he realized in his head that it was a push trap. Once he would pick up the ruby something would happen.
"Scott, don't pick that up!" Snake shouted, but it was too late. Jund had already snatched it from the ground.
"Why?" Jund asked. Right after he asked why there was a click and suddenly from the ground a net came up from the sand and trapped both Snake and Jund inside and dangled from the ceiling of the cave.
"What the hell!" Jund shouted.
"It was a trap." Snake said.
"Well no duh, we're stuck in a net!" Jund frustratingly exclaimed.
It was cramped in the net. The two elves were stuck shoulder to shoulder.
"I'll pull out my knife and start cutting us through." Snake said.
"But I can just use magic, It would be easier and take less time."
"I hate you."
"You're such a bitch, Snake."
Before the two of them tried escaping Cry, Russ and Cheyenne came running into the room.
"What did you guys get yourselves into this time?" Asked Cheyenne.
"Jund found a Ruby on the ground, but when he picked it up a trap sprung and now we're in a net." Snake explained.
"And I was about to magically get us out of here before you guys showed up." Jund stated.
Cry walked up to the net and quickly chopped through the bottom with his axe. Snake and Jund fell to the floor.
"Well I got you guys out for you." Said Cry.
"Thank you." Said Snake.
Jund only leered at Cry. He really wanted to use magic.

They all exited the cave and Cry, Russ and Cheyenne explained to Jund and Snake at the camp what happened in the cave.
"Did you get his name?" Asked Jund.
"No. we didn't." Cheyenne answered solemnly.
"Hmm..." said Snake "Do you know where he vanished to?"
"We don't know that either." Answered Cry.
"What should we do now?" Asked Russ.
They stood there in silence for a couple seconds. Nobody really knew what to do next.
"Well we should stay here for the night. It's already getting dark." said Chey.
"Yeah. I'm tired." Said Cry.
Cheyenne looked at Cry and remembered the cut he had gotten during the fight.
"Oh, honey you didn't get that cut healed yet!" Cheyenne exclaimed.
Cry looked at his left arm. "Oh yeah! I guess I forgot about that."
Cheyenne grabbed his left forearm and healed it. A glow flashed from her hand as the cut started closing.
"All better." Cheyenne said. She grabbed Cry's hand and kissed it.
"Thanks babe." Cry responded.
"I'm hungry." Stated Russ.
"Me too." Cry agreed.
"I can go hunt if you want me to." Snake offered.
"That would be nice, Snake." Said Cheyenne.
"Well, I'll be off." Said Snake as he took his bow off of his back and walked away into the forest.

They sat around the fire in the camp that Russ built for them. They were talking while Snake was gone.
"I just realized something." Said Cry
"What?" Asked Jund.
"Doesn't Spoon live near here?"
"Spoon?" Asked Jund again.
"Oh, I don't think you've ever met him, Scott." Answered Cry.
"Yeah, He lives in Laketown which is probably only a few miles away," said Cheyenne "but what do you want to see him for?"
"He would know about the Night Stone. He knows quite a few things and should be able to help us out." Said Cry.
"Yeah, he might actually." Responded Chey.
Suddenly out of the forrest Snake walked back into the camp. He carried two deer over his shoulders.
"I'm back." said Snake
"My god!" Exclaimed Jund "You didn't have to get that much food, Snake."
Cry started laughing, Russ and Cheyenne soon joined in.
"I'm sorry." Snake apologized.
"No it's fine." Cry said while his laughter died down "It's just funny when you walked into camp with two bucks swingin' on your shoulders while causally saying 'I'm back'."
"Let's just eat already." Said Russ

They ate their food. They finished the first deer, but didn't make it through the second.
"Well. Goodnight guys." Said Cry
"Goodnight." Russ said
Jund yawned "I'm getting kind of tired too. I'll go bed as well."
"Tomorrow we will head to Laketown to visit Spoon." Cry said.
