Chapter 1

"YOU KNOW THIS ISN'T GOING TO WORK CATHERINE!"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?—IV'E BEEN THERE FOR YOU THICK AND THIN!- NOW YOU'RE SAYING THIS BECAUSE YOU MET SOME OTHER GIRL!?"

"JUST LEAVE!"

I scoffed at his remark picking up one of my suite cases and going to my wardrobe, stuffing every belonging I had into the case. Putting on a jacket and getting my car keys I left our apartment. Not looking back I just kept driving.

I ended up in a small town, about 30 miles from the city. I walked into a motel and got a room. I haven't informed anyone on where I was or how long I was going to be gone.

As I thought this was supposed to be a good week it has been not. Only because my fucking boyfriend decided to cheat on me with his assistant, coincidence right? Anyways my Mom and Dad have been trying to get into contact with me for the last couple of days.

~2 years later~

"Do you have the information ready for the presentation?"

"Yes boss, everything is set and everyone is waiting for you in the meeting room"

"Great! Tell the girls, that lunch in the patio is a go"

"Yes boss"

~ 1 Hour later~

"So a little birdy told me that Catherine is going to launch another line!"-Jessica

Jessica' my best friend, she is always knowing anything and everything about anyone

Emily' she's new but she fits in just fine

Gabriella' My best friend as well. She was there for me when Dante broke up with me TRUST HER WITH MY LIFE!

"Oh please! Catherine is far from her fashion line anymore! She's focusing on her you know 'Important' business"-Gabriella

"What kind of business?"-Emily

"Are you sure you want to kn..."-Jessica

"It's fine Jessica, she's going to have to know some day. Anyways Emily, you see I run a family business, it's very important to my Father.- Catherine

"... so like, is it like a Mafia???"-Emily

"That's exactly what it is Emily! Now your officially a member:)"- Catherine

After telling Emily the 'Stuff' we just got back to talking about random stuff until another party was joined onto our patio.

"Excuse me Miss Costello we have ran out of other places for seatings so would you mind if we shared you patio for the hour?"- Waitress

"Not at all"- Catherine

The waitress came back but with a man that looked all to familiar. He was with other males and each girls by their side. Right when I thought I wouldn't be caught staring at the table across, there he was. Dante Romero. He smirked when We made eye contact, I rolled my eyes of course and continued my conversation.

Finally after what had seemed to be days! We finally decided to bid each other farewell. When I got up I noticed he was staring. Well I mean, who wouldn't, I was told I was an eye candy. So I thought about teasing so I did a little hair flip to show my exposed shoulders. I turned around and saw him tensed up at my reaction.

"Until we meet again Dante Romero" I said, and finally left.
