"Thanks for waiting for me, by the way. Care to tell me what's going on now?", Gina sarcastically says as she throws her body on her soft, plush bed, propping her arms up behind her head as she watches her red headed friend walk in to her bedroom.
Kelliana huffs the air out of her nostrils, placing her Chanel bag on Gina's desk and taking a seat on her chair. She runs her manicured fingers through her dark, red locks, heaving out a deep sigh as she side eyed her lazy friend on the bed.
"I thought we were going to study?", she peeped as she crosses her leg and gives her friend a judging expression.
Gina scoffs and crosses her ankles, trying to get comfortable on her bed as she tosses her body into a position where she's facing upwards and her arms are rested below her head. "Don't change the subject hun", she said, tilting her head to her. "Spill the tea."
Uriah had dropped Kelliana off to school when it was nearly home time, which made it easier for her to not get caught and blend in with the crowd that were coming out of the gates.
They had a well-spoken conversation at the diner they ate at, and it was fun and all, but on the way to school, it returned to that awkward silence of basically two strangers sitting in the car, not speaking to each other. Once she stepped out of the car, he immediately drove off without a single word.
It was a weird day she might say, but it wasn't bad. Not really an eventful day, besides having to go over the plan fully with him.
She tells Gina everything that was going on between her and Uriah and the plan that they came up with together. It surprises her friend that Uriah Green accepted the offer and she had begun to tease her that maybe he just wanted to get in her pants.
"Haha, very funny Gina. I am not going to give that boy any of this, that's for sure", Kelliana vows while flipping her hair off her shoulders in a sassy manner.
"Mhm, we'll see about that", Gina teases, earning an eye roll from Kelliana.
She continues telling her about how he said he did want something in return, but she wasn't sure if she was going to get him that. Either way, if she isn't able to uphold her end of the bargain, she would still use him anyway and then toss him to the side and forget he ever existed. It's not like they were friends and she was destroying a potential relationship.
Sure, Uriah seemed interesting enough on his own, but she wouldn't peg him out to be a person she would spend more than 3 minutes with on conversation, alone.
As Gina divulges every aspect and detail of the plan, she nods her head and then sits upright to lean her back against the headboard, her expression then turning into a pitiful one as she stared back at her friend.
"So, has he spoken to you yet?", Gina cautiously says, careful to be easy on the question as it could still be sensitive to her.
Kelliana bites her lip and her eyes were downcast as she slightly shakes her head at her question.
"No", she heaves, and then glances back up at Gina. "But he did see me with Uriah today, in the cafeteria."
Gina couldn't help but feel pitiful towards her brokenhearted friend. She was strong. She fights for what she wants, and never backs down. But that's the downside to it. She would always get hurt in the process.
"Are you sure it's safe to do this with Uriah? I mean, you're a member of the SRC and he has a rep of ditching school, breaking girls hearts... you know?", Gina worries as she watches Kelliana turn her chair to face the mirror on the dresser table, playing with her tendrils that fell in front of her face.
