Nora
The new semester started, and Clyde pursued me. I had my reservations, but it's not like anyone is knocking on my door to ask me for a date. While everyone was finding love and romance, I'm working and attending school. Woo-hoo for me!
Skylar and I hung out without Mason. It seems they're getting close, which is okay, but I can't stand the awkwardness between Mason and me.
"Clyde asked you out?" Skylar asked, surprised.
"Yeah, but I'm not sure if I should accept," I answered, sitting on my bed.
"Why not?" Skylar questioned, standing in front of me.
"What if I go out and it's a disaster? Or we do go out, and Clyde turns into a toad?" I questioned with a look.
"Or you can go out and find happiness, then get married and have babies," Skylar mentioned, wiggling her eyebrows.
I chuckled.
"You're a nut," I commented.
"Yeah, but sometimes you feel like a nut, and sometimes you don't," Skylar remarked, grinning.
I laughed. Skylar walked over and sat down next to me on the bed. I hugged her. Skylar became my best friend.
"What about you and Mason?" I asked.
"Well, we're going slow, I mean a snail's pace," Skylar remarked.
I looked at Skylar and shook my head.
"You need to take the bull by the horns and show Mason. The dude is oblivious," I mentioned.
"I noticed," Skylar added as we giggled.
I have a feeling Skylar and Mason would work things out. I wasn't so sure about myself. My phone dinged, and I opened a message to Clyde. I sighed, and Skylar took my phone, responding to the text.
"Here, you have a date," Skylar said, holding up my phone to me.
"Thanks a lot," I grumbled, taking my phone back.
Thanks to Skylar, now I have a date with Clyde Baker. Who knows, maybe Clyde will be sweet? Then again, I have a better chance of monkeys flying out of my butt.

I came out of class and saw Clyde. I know Pat said I should stay out of it, but this is my sister. I walked over to Clyde as he stared at his phone, grinning.
"Hi," I said.
Clyde glanced up at me.
"I'm Nora's sister. If you hurt my baby sister, I will hurt you," I warned.
"Uh, okay, I don't know what to do with that information," Clyde mentioned.
"I don't care what you do with it. I care about how you treat my sister," I replied.
"I like Nora. If you have an issue with that, that's your problem," Clyde said, walking past me.
I picked up a stone and threw it at Clyde, hitting him in the back. He stopped and turned, shooting me a glare. I smiled and waved as Clyde stormed off.
"Didn't anyone tell you not to throw stones?" Pat asked in my ear.
"Yeah, but I'm not one to listen to people," I answered, turning my head.
Pat looked at me as I shrugged. We went to our next class.

So, most people take the next step in their relationship and have sex with their significant other. I'm not most people, and neither is Jesse. When I say most, I mean sex scared the shit out of me.
