This story takes place in a world with a combination of sci-fi and fantasy. In this world, everyone has magical powers that they get once they are a certain age. At that age, they go to the awakening center and unlock their elements. There are common elements such as fire and ice, and rare elements such as cloud or, the main character's feather element.
The main character is a woman that works at an office job. She never went to her awakening, not wanting to get a bad element. Her friend convinces her to go and she unlocks the feather element. Not knowing anything about it, she walks out with what she sees as a useless element. To make matters worse, she has a feather that appeared on her after her awakening for everyone to see.
When she gets back to work, she starts to see purple areas on people, mostly around their feet and underarms. Different people have different areas with the purple aura. As she continues to be made fun of, she learns that she can summon feathers and that the purple aura shows where the person is most ticklish.
The story is focused on her getting her way as she tickles everyone into submission.
