Moments later...
Tomioka and Shinobu, along with Tamayo and Yushiro dashed towards the Headquarter in full speed. Their strength boosted, and their blood boiling like they're having a fever. Just like Kanao, they had a pattern tattooed on their face, and around their body. Shinobu with a butterfly pattern, and Tomioka with water pattern. Their blades were glowing like a lantern, and their eyes were flashing bright like a car's headlight. As time was ticking down; until they return to their normal state; the group sprinted in haste to rescue their friends.

Shinobu looked up the night sky as she ran beside Tomioka, only to see a bright colored being falling towards the ground as it was followed by a little girl in a white cloak. Shinobu pierced her vision at the two creatures, and was shocked to realize that the little girl was actually her adoptive sister. "K-Kanao?!" Shinobu cheered with a happy smile, "my my, I never knew she could be so reckless!"

Tomioka leered at his partner, then spoke. "I see that you're back to your happy-self, Kochō."

"Aw, are you saying that you're embarrassed that I cared for you?"

At that moment, Tomioka shrunken as his whole face blushed in thousands of red roses. He gritted his teeth as he twisted his head away from Shinobu. Tamayo and Yushiro watched in silence while Shinobu bursted into laughter. "Aww~! He's blushing! He's blushing~!" Shinobu wheezed.

"Sh-Shut it, l-lady!" Tomioka scolded, but it was no use. Shinobu continued her laughter, until Tamayo reminded her to concentrate on the mission. Shinobu set her eyes back on the road as she watched Muzan fighting against her friends from a distance.

A shadow was created on below her bangs, making her eyes scarier than demons themselves. With a creepy grin, Shinobu spoke. "Looks like our friends are having fun." She sneered, "given that I can't have my revenge on Douma now... I'll have my revenge on the man who's responsible for making him."

Tomioka snapped, and averted his head to Shinobu, just after she jumped to a roof and proceeded on her own. "Kochō!" Tomioka called, but he was ignored. "Tch." He clicked his tongue, then averted to Yushiro and Tamayo. "Can you guys manage on your own?" He asked.

"Don't mind about us." Yushiro responded, "we can take care of ourselves."

"Right." Tomioka nodded, although there was a slight feeling of worry in his heart. Still traumatized about his past incident with Sabito, he couldn't help but remember that time when Sabito said the exact same words as Yushiro before his own death.

"Giyu! Don't mind about me! Run! Just run!"

Tomioka hesitated to leave them for a while. But there was no time to think about the past. His friends were in danger. Tomioka looked at the demons before he said, "please take care." then jumped up a house's roof to catch up with Shinobu.

Tomioka rushed up to her in haste, but he couldn't catch up. She was so fast, and so determined that she didn't even bother to turn around. Tomioka and Shinobu were like a dog and a cat chasing each other around. Jumping from roof to roof in great speed, until all of a sudden, Shinobu halted.

Tomioka immediately screeched his slippers against the wood beneath him, and stopped right behind Shinobu's shoulder. He asked, "what? What is it?"

Shinobu contemplated on what she was looking at, her breath getting faster and faster, until tears flowed down her cheeks. Shinobu's mouth opened, but no words came out before she forced herself to speak in a hoarse voice as she reached her hand out to the air.
"S-Sis...ter?" She sobbed, "sis..ter..... Kana...e?"

Tomioka's heart skipped a beat while his stomach curled. He traced his eyes on Shinobu's hand, which was trying to reach out for you. Below your feet was nothing but dead corpses. Nobody was alive except for you, the Pillars, Nezuko, Tanjirou, Zenitsu, and Inosuke. He knew this would eventually happen, he knew that this would hurt Shinobu a lot. Too bad... but this is reality. As you were fighting side by side with the Pillars — also with Nezuko — Tomioka whispered beneath his breath, "Kochō —"
