"What the fuck is going on here..." Braxton's voice boomed over everyone as he stormed through the wall of wolves to look down at Ruby on the ground. "Alpha... why is my sister on Trial?" Brax growled out as he turned his eyes to Lina.
"Braxton! Please... They're lying..." Ruby's voice whimpered out as she tried to crawl towards her brother who didn't seem to even give her a second glance as Landon's grip tightened on the she-wolf's shoulder. Zulina's pale blue eyes turned towards Brax a moment as he turned to look at her and quickly lowered his head.
"Luna.. If my sister has said anything to upset you, forgive her... ple-" Braxton began to speak as Landon let out a low growl, The 2nd Beta instantly flinched at the Alpha's warning.
"Ruby has committed high treason against Luna and our kind" Landon's voice growled out in a loud rumble as many wolves began to growl their outrage. Zulina's eyes shifted back towards the shocked look on Braxton's face at the mention of his sister's treason.
"Braxton... Due to your relation with the accused I will have to politely ask you to step aside" Zulina's voice finally spoke up as her hand rested upon Braxton's tense back a moment. He was trembling but Zulina was unable to tell if it was from anger towards her and Landon or towards his sister.
"No..." His voice broke out in a growl as he shrugged her hand off his shoulder and turned to look at her with dead pan eyes. "No sister of mine commits high treason against our kind... Let alone our goddess...I will stand in on this trial... and make my ruling of judgment as Second beta to this glorious pack" His voice spoke with deep respect as he moved to kneel before Lina. A gesture far deserving of any Luna to see an Alpha's Beta bent in respect. Zulina's lashes fluttered several times as she felt her heart ache slightly for Braxton's strong will.
"Remain Strong my love....Do not Let Braxton see you falter... he has disowned the last family he knew...but you are his family now..." Landon's mind spoke calmly into hers as she shifted her gaze towards him and as their eyes made contact she could tell this situation was hard for him as well. Zulina nodded her head as she stepped forward to address the pack.
"Ruby has admitted to hiring a human hunter to try and kill me just a week after Landon and I had mated" Zulina's voice spoke clear and true as she watched the anger in the wolves eyes. Her eyes shifting to Braxton who kept his dark eyes on his sister with a snarl on his face but it quickly turned back to a stone cold stare devoid of emotion.
"S-she's lying... I'd never harm the Luna! I'd never go against the Goddess.. I am the seer of this pack...She's an impostor" Ruby began to whimper and plead frantically as Landon kept her on her knees with one strong and firm hand.
"Enough, welp" A low growl began to rumble to Lina's left as she looked towards Braxton his eyes filled with rage. "You do not have the right to speak over the Luna... you do not have the right to disrespect her honor in such a way...YOU are the impostor..." He pointed an angry finger to his sister before looking back towards Landon. "Forgive me for not being able to prevent this moment from happening, Alpha... Had I known what a lying little snake shared my bloodline... i would of beheaded it years ago..." He hissed out and shook his head. "Please continue the trial Luna."
