Eyes can not hide a woman’s love for a man

~

The sun was shining brightly as Eira walked through the village. She spotted a group training for battle near the shore. A small smile played across her lips as she saw Ragnar fighting with his son Björn.

Ragnar soon noticed her and a huge smile spread along his lips, before he waved her over.

She almost shyly walked closer, feeling both Björn and Ragnars eyes on her.

"Björn, this is Eira." Ragnar presented her, to his son. "Hello Björn." Eira smiled at the young boy standing next to his father. Björn greeted her politely, before Ragnar walked off to grab another sword.

He smirked at her, as he reached it out to her. Eira studied him for a second, with her head cocked a bit to the side and a smirk playing on her lips.

She stepped back, holding the stare between them as she removed her cloak. Ragnar watched her intensely, studying her small waist all wrapped in leather.

"Two against one I guess." She smirked, as she grabbed the sword from Ragnar and their fight began.

It was hard to keep up with Ragnar. He was very skilled and fast, but she had fun. Björn also.

Ragnar stepped back and watched Eira and Björn fight each other.

He couldn't help but admire her, as she fought against Björn. She was fierce and strong, but still gentle around Björn, careful not to hurt him.

"That's enough for today." Ragnar smiled, as they took a few steps back, ready to strike again.

"What a strong warrior you are Björn." Eira praised Björn, as she placed her hand on his shoulder and walked with him to Ragnar.

Ragnar placed his arm around Björn as they reached him, before the two of them walked off.

"Join us." He smiled as he turned to look at Eira. Eira nodded and followed them to the shore on the other side of the docks where they had something to eat.

"Do you like the sea?" Björn asked as he catched Eira staring off into the horizon.

"Yeah." She almost whispered completely lost in the sea, just watching the waves splash against the shore.

"It calms my mind. Makes me feel closer to the gods." She continued making Ragnar and his son look at her in awe, before she began telling Björn the story about Ran and
Aegir, the gods of the sea.

Ragnar smiled to himself, watching Björn listening intensely. He loved how she felt so connected to the nature and the gods.

She immediately had Björn spellbound by her story. He seemed to enjoy her company.
