The Rescue Dragon (Rescue Bots Academy fanfic?)

Cynder flies

"C'mon Cynder! Just jump! It'll be fine!" Whirl and Cynder decided to hang out after they finished their chores. They were currently at a beach and Whirl was trying to convince Cynder to jump from a cliff into the water.

Nuh uh, no bad idea, stop screaming at me Cynder thought. She backed away from the cliff edge.

"It's okay! I'll catch you!" Whirl yelled, she opened her arms. Cynder looked down at her in the water. Cynder roared, which to dragons basically translated to:

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

"Come on! Don't you trust me??" Whirl pouted. Cynder hissed at herself and went as far from the edge of the cliff as possible, Whirl sighed, disappointed.

Well, she was disappointed until Cynder suddenly sprinted full speed to the edge and leaped off.

Whirl was stunned at first but collected herself, she kept her promise and held out her arms again to catch Cynder, but at the last second Cynder suddenly opened her wings and shot straight past her.

Whirl didn't even have time to think about what happened and Cynder was flying full speed over the ocean. She turned and saw Cynder losing her balance and about to fall into the water.

She jumped out of the water and transformed, she went and flew next to Cynder.

"You're flying!" she yelled, still in disbelief. Cynder made a strange noise Whirl hadn't heard before, but she knew she was trying to tell her she was nervous. "Here! Grab my winch and i'll get you out of here!"

Whirl flew above Cynder and lowered her winch, Cynder happily grabbed it and the two flew back to the cliffside.

"Everyone will be so proud of you!" Whirl gushed. Cynder messed with her feathers while they were walking.

"But will they believe me?" Whirl asked herself. "Hmmmm, yeahhhh. They will." she talked to herself the whole way back. Cynder just listened and trotted along beside her.

"Wait a minute, she what??" Hoist was also shocked at the news. He was the first person Whirl saw when she and Cynder got back so she decided to share the news then and there.

"Yeah! I was trying to get her to jump into the water and then she just.. Flew! I don't know how but she did!" Whirl explained. She and Hoist talked about it for a bit and then decided they should tell everyone else.

Cynder was tired so she went to her room to rest.

Cynder's POV

I was- just like everyone else- extremely shocked when I actually flew. I only tried to fly because I thought I could get a little extra practice, I didn't expect such an amazing outcome..

I was tired from everything so I went to my room while Whirl and Hoist went to spread the news of my success.

I just wanted to take a nap but Hotshot was at my door a minute after I got there.

"YOU FLEW?!" he screamed.

I just stared at him.

"Ah, sorry, i'm just happy for you." he apologized. "We're all gonna need you to reenact what happened when you're ready, we all wanna see you fly." he smiled and then said goodbye and left.

Once he left I got up and locked my door just to make sure nobody else bothered me, then I went back to my bed, curled up, and fell asleep.
