1530 Hours

Standing front and center as President Trump enters the Oval Office, was my team and I. We were given the task of guarding the President with our lives. We stood for what felt like hours in the room until suddenly a group of people walk in. They seemed to be high-ranking officers in the military. Trump asked that they take a seat, and that he had some important business to discuss. He began speaking of these small third-world countries in the Middle East. My attention span began plummeting to the level of a fly. Every now and then I'd listen in to what was being said. About 2 hours had passed and I heard the president say something that shocked me. He said that he'd planned on beginning a war with one of Five countries. If I recall correctly, they were: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Iran, and Pakistan. One of the officers advised against it and that it would be the end of America as we know it. It would start a Nuclear War, thus ending, essentially the most of the world. The President states that it's precisely the plan. Another officer then states Iran would perhaps be the easiest, given their past radical behavior. That they could forge a series of terrorist attacks across the world and blame it solely on Iran. It would give them the go-ahead from other Leaders around the world. After another hour of this discussion Trump states he has much to think about and dismisses us all. We all salute and leave the office. I can't stop thinking about all that has happened in the last month. It has been driving me mad. Nobody else on my team seems to remember a thing about it. I'm the only one. On top of that, this is classified information so I have nobody to talk to. Even if I did, they'd kill me and erase it from everybody else's memory. It would be like I never existed. I'm losing my mind.
