Those words were stuck in my head ever since I heard them, it was strange, I couldn't just blow it off which was one of my strong points. I walk through the long winding corridors, people like flies swarmed around and talking. I gave up trying to make new friends in year 9 so I just stuck with my current pocket of friends. I start to walk to my home room and just from walking down the corridors, all I can hear is talk about Lucy. That didn't help ease my spirits. I walk into Class 2C and all I can hear is chatter about Lucy. It was everywhere. I felt like I was going to pass out just from the stress of hearing about her. We always told each other about the creatures but I never thought anything bad would come from it. "Luke are you alright?" I hear as I feel my knees hit the ground.
"Damn it." I say to myself as people rush over to help.
"Get away! I've got you, Luke" I hear a soft voice say. It was Scarlett.

She helps me up and we walk to where we usually chill, at the end of the hall, top of the third floor next to the vending machines, "Thanks Scarlett," I say as I slowly sit up and let out a big sigh of relief, "Is this about Lucy because you both.." I quickly slap my hand over her mouth, muffling her voice, "You can't say that while there are cameras around," I say as my cold eyes fixate on her glowing green eyes, "Sorry" she says as she gets a drink out of the machine. She was quite pretty compared to most girls in our class. She had long dirty blonde hair always in a pigtail, olive skin, green eyes and a beautiful wide smile. "What do you think it means?" She asks looking around still trying to avoid my eyes, "I don't know but I hope I find out why," I say cracking my neck. "We should head to class," she says as we both slowly stand up. I merely nod as we start to walk. The rest of the day was like a breeze so after the final bell I meet Scarlett down at the bus stop.
