The competition would start at noon. The New Directions were eating breakfast together. ''I am so excited'' Brittany smiled. ''Yeah me too'' Blaine said. Marley was quiet. The others noticed it. ''Are you okay?'' Unique asked. ''Yeah, yeah, I'm fine'' she smiled, but Marley knew she wasn't. She didn't like lying to everyone. She wanted to tell the truth, but she couldn't betray Kara and the others. ''Guys, I wanted to say a few words. I think that we really have a shot here, and I am so proud of you'' Finn said. ''Thank you for supporting us'' Artie preached. ''We need to get ready'' Kitty said.

''You can tell me'' Kara said. She was alone in the room with Marley and she knew something was wrong. ''What do you mean?''

''I know something is wrong.''

Marley shrugged her shoulders. ''Is it because you have to lie now?''

''Look, this might sound crazy to you, but I have never been in trouble for anything. I am lying to everyone, even my mom. How do you live like that?'' Marley said. Kara sighed. ''It's not what I wanted. Look, I am sorry I put you in this position'' Kara apologized. ''I chose to lie for you, because I know it's for a greater cause. But it still sucks'' Marley said. Someone knocked on their door. ''Time for make-up'' Tina shouted. Marley exhaled and walked with Kara to the make-up.

They were all ready. They stood on stage. The music started.
