Mishti went home assuring Abir that they will find a solution together. The truth is that the only way around the situation would be to tell Kunal the truth as he deserved to know, yes it would be a blow to him, but he would be able to handle it as the entire family will be with him and more especially he will have Abir. But how could she tell Abir this, he was too concerned that Kunal wont be able to handle the truth and might go into depression. So she decided to talk to Parul Maasi. She phoned Parul Maasi and asked to meet her in the market. She also asked her to please not tell anyone that she was comin to meet her in case BB find outs.
Maasi: Mishti, when did you come back? How are you?
M: Maasi, i am absolutely fine. I came back a few weeks ago. Maasi i need to talk to you about something important.
Parul maasi looked confused. "What important thing did Mishti have to talk about? What if she asks her about why Abir broke up with her, what answer would she give without telling her the truth?"
Mishti then told Maasi about the time she went to Rajgarh and found her sister, Lalitha and the truth about Mehul and Parul and the fact that Kunal was Mehul uncle and Parul Maasi's son.
Parul was shocked to hear that Mishti knew the truth. " You knew the truth from then and didnt say anything?"
M: It was not my place to say anything, maasi. But now i feel that you should tell the truth to Kunal. He deserves to know the truth and in this way Meenakshi aunty wont be able to blackmail you or Abir.
Parul was shocked, Mishti knew about Benbaa blackmailing?" How did you know about the blackmail?'
M: Abir told me everything, and the only way i can think of this to end is if you tell Kunal the truth yourself, yes i know it will hurt, but he has you and Abir to support him.
PM: I am so happy you know the truth and you and Abir are together, my heart broke for both of you. But i was helpless then and am helpless now. Kunal doesnt even like me, he will never accept me as his mother, and he will be heartbroken if he finds out what BenBaa did.
M: I know Maasi, but keeping secrets just creates rifts in relationships. As painful as the secret may be, it needs to be out in the open. Look at what Mehul uncle nearly did to Abir. But if Abir had knew the truth about him from the beginning, it might have hurt him less to find out the truth now. All i am saying is at least think about it, it would be much better that Kunal hears it from his loved ones than him finding out in some other way, and whatever happens, I will also be there to support you and him. You take care Maasi.
Mishti phoned Abir on the way home and told him that about her conversation with PM. Abir was taken aback but understood that what Mishti did was right and this was the only way to handle the situation.
PM reached home and was obviously tensed. Abir went to speak to her.
A: Maasi, i know that you are tensed, but after thinking about it, the only way for this secret to stop hanging over our heads is for us to tell nanko ourselves. We will be his support and we wont let him break. I promise.
PM: I know beta, that as long as he has you, he can get through anything. If you think this is the right thing to do, then i am with you.
Abir went in search of Kunal with PM. They found him in his room busy with work as usual. Nanko, we need to talk to you.
Kunal: Not now Bhai, i am busy with this presentation.
A: No Nanko, this is important. Come with me now. He took Kunal and Maasi to a park.
Kunal: Bhai, what are we doing here and why is Maasi with us, you didnt say anything on the way here, what is happening?
A: Come, let us sit here. Look nanko, you know how much we all love you and nothing will ever change that. No matter if circumstances or people or the entire world changes, you will always be my Nanko and i will love you the same way no matter what.
Kunal: I know that Bhai, but why are you telling me this now? Did something happen?
A: Nanko, you asked me a few months ago, how come i broke up with Mishti so suddenly, how could i not love her anymore, you wanted to know the reason for the breakup.
Kunal: Ha bhai, but you told me you didnt trust her because she withheld the truth from you about Mehul. And that you dont love her anymore, is that not true?
A: No nanko, its not. I love Mishti and always will. I broke up with her because of Maa, she blackmailed me into breaking up with mishti.
Kunal: What??!! But Maa had accepted Mishti?
A: No, it was a drama by her. She only pretended to accept her.
K: OMG bhai, why didnt you tell me earlier and what did Maa blackmail you with?
A: Thats what i need to talk to you about, Maa told me that you werent her son and she will tell the whole world that, and she will also kick you and Maasi out of the house.
K: What!!! No way bhai, why would Maa say that. She is my Maa, why would she even say that and why would she kick me and Maasi out of the house??
PM: Because i am your mother Kunal.
Kunal looked at PM in utter shock. He stood up in a rage. :" What nonsense are you talking about? How can you be my mother, you are just a servant in the house. This is all lies, why are you lying??"
A: Listen Nanko, calm down, what Maasi is saying is the truth, but before you get upset, at least calmly sit down and listen to us. Maasi please tell him the entire truth.
PM told Kunal about her and Mehul's relationship and how she came to BB door and she accepted her and made Kunal her son.
Kunal couldnt believe his ears, no, no,no,no,no, this cant be true. " Bhai, this isnt true right? tell me this isnt true. tell me you are my bhai and maa is my maa, right??
A: I am always your Bhai, no matter what, nothing changes that. But yes PM is your birth mother and you know what you should be so happy about that. You have a mother who sacrificed so much for you just so that you could have a better and happier life. She always put your needs above her own, unlike my mother who only manipulates me for her own benefit. Listen nanko, i know this is a a big shock but i am always here for you, and the family is there for you just like always.
Kunal: What Family?? I am illegitimate, i have no family.
Abir gets angry at this and slaps Kunal. " How dare you say that? That family is as much yours as it is mine, and you have me, maasi and the entire family with you, do you understand?"
Kunal breaks down crying and falls to the floor head in hands. he didnt know what to think anymore or how to feel, his entire identity was shattered. he didnt know who he was anymore.
Abir hugged his brother, not knowing how else to comfort him except be there for him. After a while, Abir took a mentally and physically broke Kunal and PM back home, where he gave him some sleeping medication and put him to bed.
He then called Mishti and told her what happened. Mishti wished she could have went and offered support to Kunal but she knew how much he hated her so she did the only thing she could.
M: Kuhu, what are you doing here? you should be at Rajvansh sadan.
Kuhu: #missmishti this is my house, if i want to stay here, i will and why do you want me to go there all of a sudden.
M: just go Kuhu, kunal needs you.
Kuhu: Kunal?, what happened to him?
Mishti had to tell Kuhu the entire truth upon hearing this, Kuhu went straight to RV house.
Mishti knew no matter how unstable their relationship was, Kuhu would give Kunal the support he needed.
Kuhu landed at RV house and went straight to Kunals room, she couldnt believe what she heard, how could Abir bro's mom blackmail him like that using Kunal who she raised as her own son. She saw Kunal sleeping but not peacefully, he was mumbling in his sleep about not knowing who he was etc. She sat next to him, held his hand and calmed him down. She knew what he must be feeling, but she will be with him to get through it.
Sorry for the long part and no Mishbir scenes, i just think this part of Kunal's breakdown should have been focused on a little more and not rushed like it was. Please vote and comment. Really appreciate it.
