Exams had come and gone and it was now winter vacation. Snow was covering the ground and it looked beautiful. Ever had gone home the week before, so she wouldn't bother the boys while they were studying hard. Chad had given her a small gift before she left and he told her to open it on Christmas and not before. He had found the perfect gift online on an app called Artistry. It lets artists and crafters sell their pieces to those who want it, a small business really.

Chad had messaged the person who hand made the gift and had them engrave Ever's name on the back of it with the date of when they met. He had a feeling she would love the sentimental portion of it, but he knew she would love what was on it. "Chad, you ready to get going?" Ithan called out.

Chad was busy writing a small letter to Ever to give to her when he saw her again. He hoped it was near Christmas time, but he wasn't sure. "Yeah, I'm coming!" he called back, closing his notebook and packing it in his backpack. He grabbed his phone and left his room, meeting Ithan in the living room. "We will be back in a month and a half, why are you bringing your bedding and such?"

"It needs to get washed, I am not about to leave and have a rat end up in my room."

"Really, Ithan? You seriously haven't washed it since we moved in here?"

"...no...the washers and dryers are so far away...I don't wanna walk that far..."

"ITHAN! That is so disgusting! I am not riding with you after you go home until you get your vehicle cleaned."

"Fine! I'll be better at washing it next semester, which just so happens to be our final semester in undergraduate!"

"Yeah it is! I am so happy to almost be done! But...we do have at least four more years of graduate school, if not more..."

The two headed to the elevator and to their vehicles as they talked about graduation. "You gonna invite Ever to graduation?" Ithan asked with a wink.

Chad stayed quiet. He knew Ithan was aware of their love for each other, that was not hidden very well, but Chad was nervous with making it finally official. He had known Ever for a full semester and he knew she was the one he wanted to be with for the rest of his life, he just wasn't sure how to express that to her. He nodded and spoke softly, "Yeah...Ithan...can I ask you a serious question?"

Ithan just about dropped his items in the main lobby, "Yeah, Chad. What's up?"

He chewed the inside of his cheek nervously as he thought of how to bring up the subject, "You know how Ever and I haven't really made it official between us? How we obviously have feelings for one another and when I think about her I can't stop thinking about her? Ithan...I think Ever is the one...like the one I want to spend the rest of my life with..."

Ithan smirked, "I am not surprised at all, Chad. The instant you two met, I noticed you two clicked. There has been a spark between you two, always has been."
