Maranie POV

Today was my last day here in New York and I had just finished packing. I had my last day at Brooklyn high in 30 minutes and I was nowhere near ready to go. "Maranie cmon I have to drop you off at school" My mom yelled from downstairs, "I'm coming" I yelled. I slipped on my pink tank top with my grey jacket over , some grey sweats with along with my 11s to match .

I walked into school & went straight to my locker only to see my bestfriend Deja standing there waiting for me. "Hey sexy" I said laughing walking up her & hugging her. "I'm going to miss you so much" Deja whined to me. "Why hoe you coming with me" I laughed .

Me & my mother were moving from New York to Compton ,California And our flight was tonight. Deja is moving with us since she's been living alone & working her ass off to support herself &
doesn't have any family except us. I was more than happy to bring her, because it would have been hard leaving her.
