Staying Together (no lemon)

After finding out Merlin's plan all along the seven deadly sins go back to Lione's castle. It was pretty late so the sins decided to stay the night however a shrunken giantess was still up thinking about the events that happened..

Diane POV: Merlin, our friend and teammate betrayed us, her own FRIENDS! How could she?! Even after all we've been through together, after Escanor's death too! Just thinking about what she did makes me cry...

"SHE TRIED TO KILL ELIZABETH JUST CAUSE SHE HAD FEELINGS FOR THE CAPTAIN!!" I shouted angrily.

I once had feelings for the captain too.. I was jealous of Elizabeth and disliked her for a while.. but I never thought about killing her. I saw how important she was to the captain, so I just gave up.. for him...

"I-I just... don't know why she did this to us. Even after the man who loved her more than anything died" I said as tears came down my eyes.

" Yeah me too.." a voice said

I turn around and see king standing in the doorway.

King's POV: I overheard the whole thing and it broke my heart to see Diane cry.. I had to say something.

" Hey.. I didn't mean to eavesdrop or anything, I just wanted to check on you after... everything. I-I can go if- if you want."

"Oh No No No!! It-It's fine, I'm ok though, Don't worry " she says with a sad smile.

I know she's lying but I won't want to force it out of her. So I'll just stay with her until she opens up to me. Then again staying in her room... alone... with her~

"Wait! I need to ask her first" I thought

"Di- Diane.. d- do you mind if I s-stay with you tonight?" I asked looking like a stuttering strawberry.
