MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
As some of you may know, I tend to give you all a Christmas gift in the form of a new chapter 🤣 So this year, I thought I'd do one better and post two chapters this week since I did already post one a few days ago. I hope you are all having a safe and amazing Christmas and that this second chapter made it even a little better.
Enjoy!

~Bucky~
"Bear, I think the girls have a point," Ricky relented.
We had been sitting in the chapel for over thirty minutes trying to decide if we should send out an alert to the other charters, officially declaring our guys missing. Not only would that send everyone on a tailspin to El Paso with death sentences to hand out, but it would also put the girls in a state of pure panic. Tawny would be back in Tooele before we could even blink, Ronnie would be raising hell until someone gave her answers, and Carter would be in the absolute state until she saw that both her father and brother were okay. As much as we all wanted the same, there was no way we could promise this was the case.
Shit like this didn't happen in the Tribe often—in fact, the disappearance of two charter presidents and a V.P had never happened in Tribe history. This was groundbreaking, and we had no goddamn idea how to handle it.
On one hand, I saw Bear's point of not wanting to raise red flags yet. If the guys really were okay and there was some other reason why they hadn't been able to reach us in almost twenty-four hours, then we could be alerting Donnie and whoever he ran with that they were in town and alone. Not only would that put a target on their backs, but we would be to blame for it. On the other hand, if they really were in danger and we were sitting back and trying to wait it out, we could be wasting valuable time trying to find them.
It was a fucked up situation, and no one wanted to believe the worst had happened, but as the hours ticked by, it was getting hard not too.
"I agree," I said, finally putting my two-cents in. I usually tried to keep my opinions as low key and under the radar as possible, but in this situation, I had to speak up. Most times when shit came up to a vote, I never wanted to be the one to rock the boat. I was still the youngest and most recently patched member, and I always tried to be cautious about my actions. But, if I thought my president and V.P were in danger and like we needed to do something about it, you're damn right I was gonna say something.
"Me too," Hawg said.
"I know the girls have a fucking point!" Bear raged. "Clearly, it's not fucking normal for them to go off the grid-like this for so long without contact, but it doesn't mean they're dead. They could be stuck in some kind of situation, but knowing them, they will probably find their way out of it. If we send out a red alert, every MC from here to Mexico is gonna hear about it. Do you idiots really wanna risk having that news reach someone like the Rebels?" Bear asked.
Hawg, Ricky and I all shook our heads because that would be the last thing we needed.
"You want to risk the fact that this news will reach the Rebels President and all of our other enemies?" Bear asked rhetorically. "Do you really think if they hear three of our top guys are alone in a state with no charter and no protection that they won't try and make a move?"
We were all silent because his logic made sense. I didn't like it—not one bit, but it made sense.
"We stay silent for now," Mack agreed. "It's the safest option until we know what the fuck went down after they met with Fernando."
