Luthien's POV
"Legolas!" I screamed. I ran after my older brother, and I crashed into someone.
"Where do you think you're going, little one?" My father glared down at me.
"To fight alongside my people."
"Is that a request?"
"Yes it is, father."
"Request denied. Return to the palace immediately." He turned on his heel and headed in the direction of the courtyard gate.
I turned around towards home, but I wasn't planning on obeying my father's orders.
I ran to my bed chambers and threw on my armor. I grabbed my bow and arrows, and I slid into my hunting boots.
I threw my long green robe over my tunic and leggings, and I headed for the stables.
Frodo's POV
Luthien was leading her white stallion out of the stable, and she was dressed for battle.
"Where do you think you're going, my lady?" I ran after her.
She didn't even look at me. I called her name this time. She turned around in frustration.
"What? If you expect me to take orders from a halfling, you are so wrong."
"May I at least go with you? It is better to have two pairs of eyes than just one."
She rolled her eyes, but she stretched out her hand. I grasped it, and she yanked me onto her horse.
"Your father is going to be furious. I hope you know that."
"I am aware," she glared at me.
