Nico Meets The Flash ~*~ REWRITE~*~

The Meeting

      Will, Lou Ellen, and I sat in the Big House meeting room waiting for Chiron to give us the Information on the quest in Central City that my dad had issued to us yesterday. As we were waiting, Will did the classic move of fake yawning and putting his arm around me. As cliche as it was, I still blushed, I mean, I'm still getting used to this whole boyfriend thing. Especially the people actually liking me part, I'm so used to people avoiding me everywhere I go. So yeah, people actually wanting me around is new.

     After a couple more minutes Chiron comes wheeling into the room with a box of things in his lap. "Children, as you know you will be heading on a quest to Central City. You will be going to Central City High School as students but you will also be Detectives for the Metahuman Unit for the Central City Police Department." He handed us badges and student IDs from the box in his lap. "While you are there you will be looking for a demigod who we believe is also a metahuman. There will be a couple of adult demigods at the Central City Police Department with you while you are there, Detective of Metahuman crimes, Joe West and Police Captain Singh." He gives us three copies of their files, one for each of us. "Then there is Head of Metahuman Forensic Lab and CSI Unit, Barry Allen." Chiron looks at each of us and continues, "You will all be living with Joe and Barry. Joe is Barry's adoptive dad, Iris West, Joe's biological Daughter will be there as well." Chiron gives us a look of pride, "You leave at first light  tomorrow young demigods. Hades will get you there through shadow travel. You will arrive in front of the house you are staying in, Joe will meet you outside with your school supplies, then you will head off to school in the back seat of Nico's car with Jules-Albert Driving." He looks around to gauge our different levels of understanding. "From there you are on your own. Good luck my children." Chiron finishes and wheels out and leaves us to process all of the information that we just received.

     As we were leaving the Big House, Will grabbed my hand and dragged me to the Hades cabin to get some alone time before the quest. As we approach the Hades Cabin, Hazel appears in front of us and tackles me in a hug. She then starts to sob into my shoulder. My first thought is Frank, "What the fuck did Frank do?" I asked. She laughs, "Nothing, I'm just sad that you're leaving because I'll miss you. Will recorded everything during the meeting, then sent it to me after." I nodded and hugged her back. "Can you get off of me now? Please Hazel?" she nodded and got off of me and pulled me up from the ground. She hugged me one more time then shadow traveled back to Camp Jupiter.

      By the time Hazel was gone, the sun was already setting. I turned to Will, "Uh, you should probably head back to your cabin. I'll see you tomorrow." He nods and gives me a tight hug before heading off in the direction of the Apollo Cabin. I head into my cabin, change into pajamas, climb into bed, and fall into the torture that is sleep.

     I wake up with a start. "Well, at least I didn't scream this time." I get out of bed and look at the clock above the door of the cabin. 4:45, the sun starts to rise in fifteen minutes, that leaves about ten minutes to get ready. I head to the dresser by the bathroom and pick out a black skull shirt and black ripped jeans. After I changed I grabbed my black platform converse, put them on, then grabbed my suitcase of stuff for the quest. I then strap my gun, issued to me by Chiron, into its thigh holster. Then I slid my sword into its sheath. I walked over to my mirror and put in my lip piercing and skimmed my eyebrow piercing with my hand. 

      I stepped out of the Hades Cabin then headed to the border where Will and Lou Ellen were waiting for me. When I get there, I hug Will tightly still quite scared from the nightmare. He hugs me back knowing that pretty much the only time I initiate physical contact was when I was scared or extremely happy. "It's alright Darlin'. It's gonna be okay."  my breathing became labored and quick. "Nico come on now, breathe with me. In for five, out for seven." I follow my boyfriend's breathing and slowly start to calm down. Once I've calmed down, I shake off the nerves and get ready for my dad to shadow travel us off to Central City in about two minutes.
