It was midnight. The city was usually noisy, contrary to the isolated land area that held a huge top-security unit floating over five hundred feet from the tip of the city’s highest skyscraper. The area offered a feeling of silence, comfort and relief for the residents below. At least, they know that if the floating extension of the city remains dormant, there isn’t any war. It served as an epitome of the gained victory after a gruesome bloodshed during the last feud between the two dominant and most feared clans in the city.

Half the population of the city below is fast asleep, unaware that tonight may mark as the time for the dormant area above to finally awaken and produce commotion. It started off when two choppers made a landing on the extension. Since it was built for the sole purpose of quarantining one dangerous person, no activity has incurred until tonight. Rumors spread around the city like wildfire. What happened? Is he being released? Is he being transferred? What could be a more secure place to keep a dangerous man like him?

Inside the top-security unit are twenty layers of steel door, each crafted with a sealing jutsu. The innermost cell is big enough to fit fifty people, yet only one person stood in the middle. His wrists are bound with heavy chains strong enough to prevent any chakra release.

One by one the steel doors were relieved from their seals and emitted a loud steel-on-steel grinding sound for the first time it was opened after many years. Ten armed men in chakra-infused suits and Sharingan-proof masks entered all the way to the last cell.

The order has been sent.

The armed men must take every step with caution. It had to be perfect. Every second counts. They couldn’t make not even one. Single. Tiny. Mistake. A flaw of the littlest amount in their job could cost them their lives, or worse, the lives of the many innocent people succumbed in the temporary peace ascertained below.

As soon as they surrounded their prisoner, no one said a word. Not even the mention of the prisoner’s name. It isn’t only because his name sent terrors to the hearts of everyone who knew what kind of a man he is. And not only because his name is a colossal reminder of the extreme revulsion he had inculcated in the minds and hearts of every living being. It is also because no one. NO ONE. No one is worthy to speak his name. There had been no greater impact in history, than the trembling of the whole nation at the sound of his name.

With extreme caution, they removed the chains from his wrists and replaced them with a pair of handcuffs that at the same time had chakra-sealing properties. They pulled his long raven hair back and put on a heavy duty mask over his head. It was specially designed only for him and for this day. With the mask on, he cannot see, nor hear, nor smell, nor sense any slight movement around him. It shut both the world and his consciousness out of him. It had shutters on the inside that force his eyes close, hindering any attempt to activate his ultimate weapon---his eyes. The only thing that the mask could help him do is breathe. Other than that, he had to rely on the assistance of the armed men around him if he needed to move around.

Slowly they held him on both arms and made him move out. The low, yet loud sound of his feet on the steel floor indicated that this man spelled power all over him. It felt as if the ground is going to break open into a deep pit at every step he made. They have a lot of good reasons to seal him in this godforsaken place. Should he be out in the open, anyone breathing near him will probably die solely from the massive impact of the power emitting from his body.

This is it. The time that they will finally have to execute him. It’s the time they will have to completely eradicate the cause of the fear they had experienced all these years. Those who had lost during the war had been looking forward to this day.

But unbeknownst to every soul outside his consciousness, this is also the time he had been waiting for. The armed men, the top-security unit, the extension floating above the city, the nation that seemed so oblivious down below never knew what’s coming to them.

Performing the execution outside the cell was the greatest mistake they had made. There is no other way. His escape is inevitable. They thought they had gotten away with it, but they were wrong. Oh, so wrong. For they had not only imprisoned a highly wanted criminal. They had imprisoned a god. And gods can make the impossible, possible.
