The Whistle

Lucy's POV

We finally make it to my fathers house. I am still shaken up because of what Fabian did. I can tell Natsu is still upset too, he hasn't said a word about it.

I open the doors to my fathers house, the first one to great me was my servant Alicia.

"Omg, you have turned into a fine young lady," she squeals. She looks over at Natsu then back to me "oh is he you boyfriend," she nudges me.

I think Natsu hear what she said, he started blushing.

"Do you want me to tell your father that you are here?" She asks. I nodded.

I lead Natsu to my moms study. I open the large doors and go inside, Natsu following behind amazed at everything. A tear manages to escape from my eyes, seeing all the things she left behind, I can't control it.

I go over to her desk and start looking. "Natsu help me find it." He starts rummaging through the papers on top of her desk.

I saw an envelope addressed to me, in a gold colored casing.

"Natsu I found it," I said opening the letter.

"What does it say," coming towards me.

(Lucy's letter)

Dear my princess,

If you are reading this, that either means I told you to find the letter or you turned 18.

My dear Lucy, you are a dragon. Not just any dragon either, the most powerful dragon ever to walk the face of the universe. I was a queen of the dragon realm, making you a princess. You power is you can control all the elements, mind control, the ability to slow down time, but not go back in time, also space.

When you were a new born other dragons from another kingdom came to kidnap you as their own, to use the magic you posses as something truly evil. We escaped to Earthland just in time before they came to take you.

Unfortunately you power is too strong and can be sensed throughout all the realms. So, I hide your powers until you turned 18.

You original father, not Jude, made a deal with another dragon. You would have to marry his son, Fabian, in exchange for your safety. He killed your father shortly after the deal. He was going to find you no matter what. He died before he could succeed, but his son continued to look.

If you truly desire to control your powers, look in the envelop. There is a whistle in there blow it. Dragons will come and teach you new techniques and how to control it.

(Letter over)

I started shaking. I'm a dragon, not just any dragon the most powerful one at that. Tears started to form in my eyes.

Natsu took the letter and started reading it.

"Holy shit, Luce" was all that came out of his mouth.

He looked in the envelop. He pulled out a gold whistle. It had a a dragon carved in the side and shined like a star.

I stood up and walked to the window and looked outside.

Jude came in to the study. "So you found out?"

"Why did you tell me," I said softly, almost in tears.

"It wasn't my place to tell," he replied

Natsu walks over to me and hugs me. "It's now or never Luce," he hands me the whistle.

I walk outside in the garden. I raise the whistle into my mouth. When I blew it, not a sound came out of it.

I thought it was broken "see nothing." The ground started to shake, the wind picked up. Red, orange, white, yellow, and blue smoke appeared. 4 people appeared from the smoke.

My eyes flew open. I couldn't believe what I am seeing. Tears started to form in my eyes "mom?"

Natsu ran to me, he stopped and looked over at the smoke. His eyes filled with tears "Igneel?"
