Changing my writing style a bit, hope you don’t mind ^.^

ANDYS POV

I lay on the hotel bed trying to figure out where a girl I don’t know would get my number, and why she would make such a bizarre claim to have my shirt and ring.

Why does Juliet not believe me when I say I have no clue what that girl was saying, I mean, hell she was with me all last night, even when I was supposed to be just out with the guys, to get to know Lauren, the songwriter that is supposed to help me get my shit together.  The only reason Juliet was even out with us last night is because I thought it would get us over the nerves of not seeing each other for a few months. It’s no one’s fault that we’ve grown so distant. Maybe that’s what the fight was really about. Maybe she just really missed me.

My thoughts are interrupted by knocking at the door. I turn and check the clock, 8:10, it can’t be Juliet back already, there is no way she would have gotten over their fight already, she is far too good at holding grudges.

I let out a sigh and make my way to the door.

“Hey Ash, hey CC, what’s up?” I greet as I open the door. I’m relieved when I see that Ashley looks like shit, clearly they’re here for a reason and they won’t even know something is up with me, or ask where Juliet is.

Ashley and CC step into my room without an invitation. They didn’t notice that Juliet wasn’t around. CC sat on the edge of the bed and Ashley paced around the room. I sat down on the couch between the window and bed facing CC

“So...what’s up with him?” I asked CC, gesturing towards Ashley

“He hooked up with a girl last night and left something there.” CC replied

“Why doesn’t he just go back and get his stuff? It would only be awkward for a second” I questioned

“He said he just wanted to come hang out with you doesn’t remember what room she’s staying in or even if she’s still in this hotel”

“She is staying in this hotel?”

“Yeah”

“Wow what are the odds, Ashley is clearly getting lazier”

“Hey do you think you could stop talking about me like I’m not here” Ashley cut in. He took a seat next to me.

“What exactly did you leave in her room? Is it really that important? I questioned

“My mother’s ring” Ashley answered showing his right hand where he normally wears it, then letting it drop to his side as he gets up and walks over to my bedside, picking up my cell.

He looks adorable when he’s upset about something, I think to myself.

Ashley always wears that ring, and I know how much it really means to him. I remember early on, on one of the first tours as a band with Ashley, we both stayed up later than everyone else. It was the first time I really got to know Ash for the loving, sentimental guy he is, and since then I can easily call him one of my best and closest friend. The ring is one of the only he has left that connects him to his mother since her passing. It’s easily the only thing, aside from his bass and the band that he truly cares about.

“Hey, I just remembered, Juliet answered my phone earlier, and apparently it was a girl claiming to have a ring that belonged to me. I didn’t really think anything of it considering I’ve never given a girl a ring before--” I said mentally cringing that I had brought attention to Juliet not being here.

Ashley’s face lit up, and he doesn’t even let me finish

“Did you ask her to give it back?” Ashley questioned.
